- Come on a chaotic thrifting day with me and my husband Peter! we're shopping fall, color, and all things sustainable clothing! we both found some cooler weather GEMS on this outing, and i also snagged some fun fabrics for future projects. I can't wait to style up more secondhand goodness!

Loved this video. That last shirt Peter tried on (the one that looks like potted pot!) is great on him. The "1920s" dress is perfect on you, and it looks wonderful with that jacket you popped on over it as well. That romantic "taupe-y" dress is also gorgeous. You always find such wonderful things, which is why I'm so looking forward to the arrival of my frock box (next week!). Give Peter a big hug. He's a really good sport.

Peter is just as fun as you are, Addy. I've been thrifting at my favorite store, Community Thrift Store, here in Tampa, FL. I usually just go when everything is 50% off. I get tons of stuff. OOO. I love the yellow jacket. I got a great travel purse/bag. I'm using it as a purse. It fits lots of things in it. Your store has a lot of fabric. My Sally's (Salvation Army) as my sister calls it, does not have that much fabric. So sad. I'm so happy for you two because you both like to thrift and can have fun doing it together. I haven't been able to post anything on my very small channel because I have not had the time as a teacher who was just given more responsibilities and have to complete a course. Hey, nice legs, Peter. I love all of the things you guys tried on.

I loved every single piece you found! After finding your channel recently, you inspired me to go thrifting again. I’m trying to be sustainable and not to buy pieces I’m not in love with as have full wardrobe! I’ve started shopping at thrift stores when I was 13 and for many years my wardrobe was 90% thrifted. I feel like clothes manufactured even just few years ago have so much more quality to them, my goal is to rotate my existing clothes more and have more fun, and add few ‘new’ thrifted pieces now and then.

I loved layering clothes when I lived on the mainland. I really miss that. But, here in Hawaii, we don't layer clothing, except for the light layering of a jacket or sweater during our colder months. You have some great ideas.
