Growing up bowling in Brooklyn in the late eighties I heard so many stories about Rudy. First was someone describing his style and his arm swing, when I first saw him bowl a few years later I couldn't believe how he threw it.....I was pretty blown away. He in my opinion was and still is one a kind. He struck fear in people in any tournament he showed up for and would bowl action against anyone all night long. He bowled action against many pros, one being David Ozio when he was on tour after his block they bowled game after game until I think 5am when they were tied. I think from what I heard was that Ozio had to bowl A squad and had to say that they would only bowl one last game. Not sure who won but that must have been something to witness in person. Like him or hate him everyone watched him and even if they couldn't admit it they all were amazed by him.

Rudy wanted it bad, he ate, slept and dreamt bowling, I know, I lived 4 houses away and went to many of his action bowling matches

I SAW RUDY HOOKING A SHINED UP RED U.DOT AT GARDEN CITY ON FRESH OIL!!! THESE 2 HANDERS WOULD HAVE THEIR HANDS FULL IF RUDY WAS THEIR AGE NOW, THROWING THE WAY RUDY DOES!!!! IT WOULD BE INTERESTING.

RUDY [ REVS] COULD SHOW THE 2 HANDED BOWLERS HOW TO HOOK URETHANE.THEY USE BALLS NOW THAT ARE URETHANE ON OUTSIDE BUT HIGH TECH ON THE INSIDE!!! RUDY IS HOOKING AN OLD URETHANE BALL WITH PANCAKE WEIGHTBLOCK, I THINK THE GAME IS GREAT. WATCHING RUDY [ REV] IT UP WITH AN OLD U.DOT ON HIGH ROLLER OIL IS JUST AMAZING. TONY LEWIS THREW A GREAT BALL AND GOT A 7/10 SPLIT, TOUGH BREAK.

Rudy is flat out destroying those pins!!! Even with the ultra aggressive bowling balls and unreal rev rates of today's pros, their strikes don't sound as violent as Rudy Revs

Brad Fournier he almost slid In the left gutter cap and circled the whole lane with a pancake weight block urethane ball. Freaking crazy

@@CurtisL8.3066 Imagine Rudy[ Revs] in his youth/ prime against Belmo/ TROUPE/Rash/ SVENSON???? Rudy would scrape them [ imho] Rudy had only 1 minor problem spares, He strikes 8 or 9 times a game, besides the spare thing Rudy would dominate todays game, shame he isn't 25 today!!! Imagine Rudy throwing Reactive????
