Lived in Sauga for a while some years ago. I had quite the same experience in april back then with snow. I traveled a lot in the Miway and Zum busses that time. The best thing was the heated bus stops at Lisgar to wait in a better condition than outside for the bus. I got to the point, where I bought a car and started to memorize the city. I miss Sauga and Tdot so dearly, they are like my second home, despite I am German. I still remember the Meadowvale library and the Missisauga Central Library. After a few months tho I left the GTA and moved to Montreal, another great Canadian city. Even though I felt tad strange in Montreal, saw Quebec city and had to return to Germany after a year. I can say: Great folks are living in Canada. So much diversity. I felt welcome. I haven't been for over 3 in Canada, because the borders went shut in March 2020 and it was a hussle to come back. maybe next year. I recently visited Timmies in Madrid, Spain and was not that convinced about the food offerings there. Who puts a Timmies at Madrid's Gran Via? They knew what a double double was, but still the variety of donuts was not there. I got worse choice than at a Timmies in upstate New York.

Sometimes it can take a while for the feet to get used to the skates again. With repeated playing, the blister can go on to a callous, and you will be more comfortable then.
