I want to give Valencia another visit. I went there for 2 weeks of my last 6-week Spain trip, and I went away favoring Barcelona to live. The main reason was I felt Barcelona had so many larger sidewalks and extensive, safer pedestrian walkways compared to Valencia. Valencia had a lot more of the traditional tiny sidewalks with cars closer to us when we were walking around. But I went back to Barcelona last summer for a month, and it is a bit too big and crowded for us. Other than the sidewalk impression I got = I really enjoyed Valencia, so yes, I need to get back and spend more time because I really want to find the right Spanish city to claim as a second home.
