Another great show lads. Really good point made about Lulamba and how weak an Antepost market can become. This year, perhaps more than any other, there has been a trend towards backing any French horse purchased by one of the major owners with a view that if you can get on the right side of one of them, it will pay dividends. For every Sir Gino and Lossiemouth in France, there is also a Batman Girac, Konig Dax and sadly this year Willy de Houelle. (That said, Lulamba was very good at Auteuil and comes from the best trainer of 3YOs in France). Keep up the good work. No need to rush for the price as it's unlikely to go anywhere, but if the big names do go to the Champion hurdle instead of the Mares', Kala Conti is too big at 25/1 and should be much more suited to the turns of the old course than she was at Leopardstown behind July Flower.

I’ve been a fan of both Salvator Mundi and Kopek des Bordes since their runs last year. Interesting bit of value: SM is short favourite for Supreme but still 25/1 for the Turners. He was entered in the Lawlor’s of Naas (2m4f). Not ready but clearly expected to make that distance and talked up by the Mullins team (where Jasmin de Vaux’s jumping was talked down beforehand). Kopek des Bordes runs in the DRF 2m grade 1… entered against Romeo Coolio… It doesn’t take a big leap to see that if Kopek wins then they may send him to Supreme (against RC) and SM to the Turners (against New Lion). They wouldn’t go to the same race. What odds for Kopek to win the DRF Grade1? 3/1 or 4/1 maybe. Currently the double for KdB in the Supreme and SM in the Turners is 337/1!? You’re welcome 😂 Hopefully see you at Cheltenham this year.
