I love these snowy cold hunts. Solid episode given the extreme conditions you had to make it in. Big Al redeemed himself big time! What a shot! That is a really cool zoom feature also. Great job to all you guys!
Don't worry about missin Al. You're still one of the best shots around. No one drops them like you. Been watching you for years. Sill on the mark buddy. Ow, Ow Owwwwwwwwwwww!!!
With that many coyotes coming in and having 2 guns there, why are you guys not trying to get doubles or at least having one of you taking follow up shots?
It''s funny to see how some couch potatoes are trigger happy when it comes to criticism. Shooting under those conditions is not an easy thing to do. Weather, distance, wind, altitude, etc., will make you look bad. I've seen other videos from you guys and you have shown great skills. Go get them boys!
Hard work, but nothing good ever came easy ! you stuck it out and put in the effort and in the end you were rewarded with some beautiful fur in the truck !
You ain't just a kiddin! Shift my weight wrong on a full moon night and these smart Michigan coyotes haul ass outta there. Western coyotes are where it's at.
They Are on the reserve. These things never get hunted. They are basically tame. White man cannot hunt the reserve unless with a tribe member.. which never happens
Nice job guys, but it was a close call to hitting the deer behind the running coyote at 3:10 in the clip you can see the bullet hit right in front of the deer make sure you know whats behind your target.........
Paul Hanna I use 22 mag or 17 hmr, if you get one looking at you like they always do you shoot right down their chest and the drop like a rock and you don’t mess the pelt up
Boy, a miserable display of shooting on this video. Too much benchrest paper punching, not enough practice from field positions off of sticks. How did you guys miss the fact that that Ruger was shooting so high?
Agreed, at htat distance its either a ranging problem or a zeroing problem and neither one is acceptable... then to miss both shots that high and then continue to shoot without knowing where your gun is zero'd,, i dont know man..
Even us sharp shootin good ole southern Utah boys miss dogs once in a while big Al. Happens to the best of us! I sure enjoy watching these episodes and big Al. He’s one of the good ones! Looks like that one he missed from 300+, wind was blowing left, vapor trail missed left, at 300, a 10 mile an hour or so wind will push that slug a long ways. I will have to get big Al down here in Southern Utah in his home state shooting them with me. Last year had a one day trip that we saw 18, called in 10, killed five.
How many shots did that fella take at that coyote at 100 meters?? Awful poor shot! Go back to the range buddy! if you cant shoot a coyote at 100 meters, you best give up this hobby and go back to the USA.
Al, I watch on my 55" smart TV and I saw it, on the video, when you hit it. You shot him at about 3:49 as he was rounding to the right into the dip. I wasn't sure if you hit it at first... but I kept watching and saw his tail as he was spinning around in circles before he dropped. Congrats... you got him on the run 🏃♂️. I need to zero my weapons... I'd love to go coyote hunting with you if I could. (In where weather of course. I have arthritis throughout my entire body and cold just means PAIN for me... I'm useless in the cold. I can't function in the cold.)
Those coyote calls loop about every 6 seconds, then hunters overdo it when animals are close. The loud yelling and open cover doesn't help either. They probably showered with Irish Spring soap before putting on their favorite cologne that morning. Then maybe snack on some peanut butter crackers and french fries before heading out.
Two things. I believe Big Al need to call in those Coyotes A LOT CLOSER and when he gets home have his eyewear adjusted. Very nice fella, but just a horrible shooter. For every one Coyote he hit, he miss at least 5-7 more. If those Hornaby rounds were three seeds, Big Al would surely grow a forest all by himself. Bet there are dozens of missed Hornaby rounds planted in the ground. C'mon Big Al! We don't want to watch an episode of Fur Takers just to see and hear you fire off your rifle and not drag anything back! I think when you let the coyotes get within 5-10 yards of the fox call you stand a better chance at baggin' a prize before the stand or episode ends.
The purpose of hunting coyotes is to keep their numbers down. It also keeps them from killing farmers cattle too, which is the main reason. And you get a little cash when you take the fur in to the fur buyer. They also make gloves, jackets, boots and hats out of the fur.
Looked like the bullet in the video veered way off to the left. Adjustments needed and elevation.. bit of range time.. But still as a heads up ye are still dropping them.. good shooting boys
Carry some bags of sand in the bed of the truck. If you get stuck ... Don't have a heart attack pushing the truck!!!! Instead, cut a bag of sand open pour some sand around all 4 tires for traction and trail some sand up front in the trail the tires will be gripping. It works like magic ... you will drive right out no problem. Learned this in the army. It works!! GO TRUMP 2020 baby!!
I love watching you guys hunt fox in Alberta! I live in Indianapolis, Indiana ... man would I ever love to be with you guys. I was a MILITARY POLICEMAN in the army and qualified EXPERT with .45 pistol and M 16 rifle. I learned a "trick" in MILITARY POLICE FIREARMS TRAINING to keep from missing shots: Use the tip of your finger on the trigger instead of the middle of the first section of your index finger. Take a minute and look at your 'trigger" finger ... observe the first section of your index or "trigger" finger as you imitate pulling a trigger while observing the first section of your trigger finger. You will see it's on an angle ... this angle puts a force on the trigger that pulls weapons, pistols rifles, and shot guns to the side (right if you're right handed - left if you're left handed) Now, if you observe the tip of your trigger finger as you imitate pulling a trigger you will see it moves in a straight line (plane) with your wrist and arm. Next time you shoot something remember this trick, inhale deeply before the shot, exhale slowly while you start squeezing the trigger with the end (tip) of your finger. Don't try to know when the gun is going to fire, because EVERYONE reacts to the concussion (blast) of the gun, by jerking just a little, so instead of "pulling" on the trigger use the tip of your finger and gently "squeeze" the trigger and gradually increase the pressure on the trigger finger while you aim ... let the gun blast take you by surprise ... you'll hit the "bullseye" (fox) or (coyote) every damn time! Telling a man how to shoot a gun is like telling a man how to drive .. that never goes over well; but, let's just say it's a shooting tip and most importantly IT WORKS!!!
WTf, dude - such an awesome setup and you miss... What did you zero at, like 50 yards. It's like yr shooting a Nagant?! Maybe you need a braille scope! Just kidding, thanks for making and sharing this video
Hold your breath and don't move until you pull the trigger. Otherwise you will miss it. I think that Al needs much more practice for hunting. 1 shot, 1 kill ! You must know that. From Vancouver, Canada 🇨🇦 🍁 🇺🇸

Al hates missing, but still shows his misses...unlike some other shows. Keeping it real.
Don't worry about missin Al. You're still one of the best shots around. No one drops them like you. Been watching you for years. Sill on the mark buddy. Ow, Ow Owwwwwwwwwwww!!!
We all miss, especially in windy, cold conditions. Glad everyone else so perfect lol
Just a really good show! Thank You again!!!
With that many coyotes coming in and having 2 guns there, why are you guys not trying to get doubles or at least having one of you taking follow up shots?
Because they dont know what they are doing
It''s funny to see how some couch potatoes are trigger happy when it comes to criticism. Shooting under those conditions is not an easy thing to do. Big al wtf never seen you miss that many.
How do y’all get away with sitting out in the open and moving that much and talking like you’re in a hollerin contest ?
Really stupid Western coyotes. You'd never even see an eastern coyote doing that.
You ain't just a kiddin! Shift my weight wrong on a full moon night and these smart Michigan coyotes haul ass outta there. Western coyotes are where it's at.
@@MrAnimalControl can't get away with it in western Oklahoma either
Walker Outdoors I hunt in the same area and you can’t get away with much movement
They Are on the reserve. These things never get hunted. They are basically tame. White man cannot hunt the reserve unless with a tribe member.. which never happens
13:38 trees just left of the ice fishing shack...Coyote stands up listening to all the yelling.
Great eyes! But I think it is a deer. At that range that has got to be bigger than a coyote for how big it looks at range still.
I need to know more about this hunting, it's pretty cool
Welcome to Canada Gentlemen! 🇨🇦🇺🇸
Nice job guys, but it was a close call to hitting the deer behind the running coyote at 3:10 in the clip you can see the bullet hit right in front of the deer make sure you know whats behind your target.........
Todd E dude I saw that after you pointed that out and al is a unethical hunter. Hurting a deer ain’t worth those coyotes
I'd like to know how long you are calling for at your set ups..? Is it 15 mins or 30 mins or longer..?
Al we LOVE it when you miss! Good job guys... Deer Killers Down!
awesome everytime!!!
What caliber / cartridges do you guys use?
Great show and greetings from sunny Northern Ireland!
Paul Hanna I use 22 mag or 17 hmr, if you get one looking at you like they always do you shoot right down their chest and the drop like a rock and you don’t mess the pelt up
Missing sucks but guess what everyone misses , nice to see you don't edit it out like most do!!!!!!!!
Old boy misses a lot 🤣
12:20 right when he starts to take a shit lol
It appears to me that most of the missed shots was with the ruger precision. Perhaps there was an issue with it.
What brand is that chair that Al uses?
I find it amusing you shoot your $350 Ruger American better than your $1,000 Ruger Precision rifle. My American is a tack driver, too.
I agree. My Ruger American Predator in .243 is a tack driver.
@Michael, What caliber are those rifles in that they are shooting?
@@Plainsimple67 not sure. Probably .243 or 22-250.

300 yards. Wind etc. Hard as hell to hit a 8 inch target.
Great shooting again, you should have finished that dance.....UK here
All three of those Ruger bolt guns have been on my list. Wonder what caliber they all are.
How many shots did that fella take at that coyote at 100 meters?? Awful poor shot! Go back to the range buddy! if you cant shoot a coyote at 100 meters, you best give up this hobby and go back to the USA.
Haha listen to this old guy . Nice pops you can't even see 100 m with your glasses on . Get back in the kitchen with granny and hold that apron.
Какие пули используете? И какой калибр ?
Somebody should of practice shot before hunt. Should of been at least 3 down.
Come to Cremona Alberta. Coyotes everywhere.

Uncle Al, have you considered making an appearance on dancing with the stars? Do your signature dance move big fella. Love it!
Always a pleaure to watch your videos.
Is there any worth to skin them, any money in it?
Yes prices are good for Yotes. As long as they are Prime, and not to damaged. In Canada their Yotes receive some great prices on the Market.
Go back to the Ruger AL you need some work with the other rifle.
A missed is a penny lost, safe hunting shines about the rest brother AL!
Sure looks like tons of fun! What caliber is that Ruger predator you were slinging lead with?
6mm creedmoor or a 22-250...
Awesome show 👍👍
what kind of tripod are they using? I like the way the rifle can be balanced on them.
Practice practice practice.
When you give a temperature in Canada, please specify if it is in °C or °F as they are vastly different. 0°C is equal to 32°F!
This must be old footage! Looks like US optics on those rifles!
great video, but really? a toyota truck?
least they wont leave you stranded
Where in Alberta
What caliber?
Just found your videos !!!!! What are u using for rifles calibers and brands!!!!! Thanks!!!!
Heath Hudson not sure of caliber but there’s a Ruger Precision (probably in 6.5Creedmore) and a Ruger American Predator probably in the same 6.5

What are you wearing do a video on your cold weather gear
looks like so much fun
Good day....what caliber is the weapon!?
Are you southern boys using temp stable powder?
at 12:25 that coyote was taking a shit when he got shot lol
Poor al his face is so cold he can’t make the right sounds to put words together lol awesome though it’s too bad you can’t use suppressors in Canada

Cold weather. Makes everything harder.
You did not hit that coyote because I think you were pissed.. Coyote hunts ... usually bring alcohol alone
Just curious...what's the purpose of hunting coyotes? Are you cattle ranchers? What do you do with the corpse?

The dogs were too close. Clearly 2nd shot over the back.. Gun set for around 300 yards. Nice.
