I didn't even know they stopped selling them. I always love going to Dollar Tree and looking at the different Blu Rays and DVDs they have. I'm hoping to find more old DVDs like the Betty White ones and all that. Dollar Tree rocks.
I have not seen any new dvd's at any of the Dollar Trees here in the Twin Cities, MN. I have asked at the stores if they are getting new DVD's back into the stores & they have no idea if they ever will get DVD's back again. I would like it if they would get them back. Dollar Trees in general have gone down hill in every way & everything is $1.25 & now half some of the stores $5.00 & up.
@@SeanRMI 4k looks much better than regular Blu-ray. Blu-ray always looks washed out. I have hundreds of 4k’s on my shelves and didn’t keep the Blu-ray version of it. But, if it’s not on 4k yet then o do have the Blu-ray of it. I only have a few though. Smart one.
@@joshualufkin7781 I mean, to be fair, you're acting like regular Blu-rays are outdated when they are still capable of a much higher bitrate/better audio than even 4K streaming, so, they're not going anywhere anytime soon. Streaming has a long time to catch up with the capabilities of a regular BD disc, and there are still tons of releases worth buying out there. I don't own any regular Blu-rays which look washed out on my 4K projector with a 120" screen, but I'm very careful and do my research on the disc encode/authoring job/master used, before buying one. You probably just have some Blu-rays with really old masters, which were made from outdated equipment, like a Spirit DataCine Scanner. If you also stream, and the PQ doesn't look washed out, then this is almost certainly the reason, because streaming is between DVD and Blu-ray, in the tier of PQ. DVDs on the other hand, yuck!!

I got rid of all my Blu-ray’s and only have 4k’s. I wont ever buy Blu-ray again. I can’t even understand why people still buy dvd’s.
Yeah but not every movie gets a 4k release and not every 4k release is good.
