Wow, what a interesting interview. Freaky ,how when he first met Bjork.. didn't know what to say to her. I think I would feel the same if I was ever lucky enough to meet Thom! He is super cute in this interview :)
I would die for Thom and the rest of Radiohead , if I had to because of the inspiration he and the rest of the band give to people. Thom does suffer like the rest of us from certain emotions. That's what make him so great, plus his insane "falsetto." I am not a doctor but happy one minute and sad the next translates into?
well, even depressed people are happy sometimes, especially when talking about their passions I suppose. There's no need for alcohol or drugs for that...
Yay, Thom Yorke! I've never seen this interview before! A little side-note, Bjork recorded Gling-Glo in between the second and third Sugarcubes album in 1990, when she was 24.
I seen play Manchester Acadamy nov 1995 and I threw a small parcel on the stage it was love beads and after thom came out to sign autographs and he had them on he was really nice xxx talked to me told me he were tired x
I believe he quit smoking cigarettes before recording The Bends. As far as smoking weed, sure he has. They've probably experimented with most drugs, (except of course, maybe not jonny ;) but obviously never let any of them destroy their lives. Remember though, this interview was conducted 15 years ago. They're all family men now. Doubt they're still smoking up. Drugs are bad, m'kay.
Some of the most brilliant people who produce the most memorable music aren't what you would call the easily forgettible over manufactured rubbish idea of perfect. Kids should see that as a role models, than the things in celeb magazines they're told to spend their money on that people will forget after a few months. For example Freddie Mercury and Elton John.
It's almost frightening how much Thom Yorke looks like Audrey Hepburn; especially in this interview. If you don't believe me watch Audrey Hepburn's screen test for Roman Holiday.
Yeah he was really cool way back then I like the way he used to be now it's sort of got to his head I think and his whole demeanor has changed that's a shame I like the old Radiohead music
This supports my theory.......he's not really a very depressed person. A really depressed person can't write Radiohead music. Truly depressed and downtrodden people write stuff like old blues--which had sad sometimes lyrics but upbeat, danceable music sung and played with joy.
"You live in England, I'm sure you can find that album there".
Things we were saying before the Internet.
he's too handsome.
@killwill83 STOP 💀
I think he's absolutely adorable!!
Yes he is! @@lucindatwo9921
Stop what? @@alair9286

Really? How could he look like Audrey Hepburn? I have to watch this. Maybe it's the jaw or smile?
Bjork has a good taste in music...Bjork and Lali puna...what else?!
he sounds quite normal considering,.
THE SCREAM CAUGHT ME SO OFF GUARD
well of course he didn't work with miles davis
