Imagine a person standing.. If you look inguinal canal from above (head) you will see roof... And
When you will see inguinal canal from front view, you will see anterior wall...

Inguinal canal roof is formed of internal oblique muscle + transverse muscle; anterior wall is formed of the external oblique aponeurosis which inserts on the inguinal ligament
