What holds the top panel in place? Like against the door? Does it just hang? Or do those 4 screws that hold the strap behind those triangle clips, screw in past the panel and into the door frame to hold it in place?
@@idontknow93960 the screws in the pull strap and the screws under arm pad...and depending if you have manual or electric windows cause you gotta remove either the window crank or the buttons and it should slide right up
@@yukonrottgood info! Thanks for the reply. Hey one thing im stuck on….how do you bolt down the arm rest in the middle of the seat. In between the driver and passenger seat .

I never removed mine but I'd guess if it's the 60/40 split bench I'd probably push both seats forward and maybe crawl in the back unless you can reach...I'd guess the bolts or screws are towards the rear of the seats .. I don't have the Cutlass anymore it was stolen years ago ... And never had the heart to build another one...
@iheartmycutlass there is a little set screw holding the actual toggle part to the chrome cover on the top side. just get an allen wrench and loosen that set screw and pull it out.. hope that helps
not sure on the name just had a friend match the color... it was factory black car....kid painted it and I repainted it..lol and plenty of newer vids of the car with a 5.3 swap...
Thanks for posting on to remove these plastic pieces. I bent a tool like the one you used and they popped right off.

one tool i found thatll take off the door panel clips is a spark plug boot puller
how do u remove the mirror switch the door lock and window switch from the panel
once u get the door panel loose if I remember right there are clips on the inside of the door lock switch and mirror switch
