I doubt I'll get a reply BUT, is it a good idea to buy a truck that's been shortend? There is a big 10 in my area and it's almost impossible to find shortbeds. I really want a big 10 but being in the middle of the city it sucks driving a L O N G bed so this is the perfect truck. I'm just a little scared about it being shortend.
Not a big deal at all. Just make sure that your welds are solid and don’t be afraid to hire it out if you’re unsure of yourself. If shortened correctly, it’ll be as strong or stronger than factory.
