Jon Jones had several fights with over a year in between, and I believe his last one was over 3 years without a fight, and he might have been slower at heavyweight, but he came back and dominated and won the fight in the first round. Cains problem was injuries mostly, not the time. Look how easily his knee blew out. Rust is real though, and he should have had a warm up fight.

I sometimes catch myself wishing Cain would come back. He got injured and we didn't see nearly enough of the guy, and was just a complete animal, dominated just about everyone. Even at his current age I'd love to see a comeback if he got his injuries under control. I mean start him against easier guys and see how he does first. I sometimes catch myself wishing Cain would come back. He got injured and we didn't see nearly enough of the guy, and was just a complete animal, dominated just about everyone. Even at his current age I'd love to see a comeback if he got his injuries under control. I mean start him against easier guys and see how he does first. He's older and hasn't fought at all so that would need to happen.
