Alternative title: how to damage your vinyl records at home
Stfu, it's obviously not a legitimate turntable
XD
Based and vinyl-pilled.
He destroys a second of a record within not even a minute of the video
Dude, that is awesome! Hey, I wonder if there is a DIY cost effective record player design out there, where I can make a lasting record player that will connect to real speakers? If anyone has any ideas, let me know.... I was thinking how cool it would be to build my own Bluetooth ready wood based player. Any top notch builds out there??? Thanks
DIY how to break your Vinyl records at home (the needle)
Just use a record you don't care about. I have 10 jazz records
@@ringosgringos5593 True
@@ringosgringos5593 what records are your jazz ones?
But how can i make a needle that dosent Break the Rekord?
Good work ! 🌹
The sad part is that some kid actually tried this and absolutely ruined their parents' records 😖
It wont work if u do it had no sounds
Estas cosas realmente son muy hermosas gracias a Dios
para escuchar discos de pasta de 78 rpm quizas sirve, pero los vinilos los destrozas
Of course, You can do it but i recomend using normal gramophone needle if you are doing this with newer 12 inch vinyls. but if you're using it with oldschool 8 inch vinyls then you can do that with every needle

roba da matti: letteralmente la dimostrazione del principio del grammofono. ora bisogna perfezionare la puntina e.... inventare l'amplificazione elettronica :D cmq complimenti per l'idea
Not bad, as a result, thinking about how did a good turntable cost, in hi-fi era.👍
A lot with little.
Watching at you working, I'd have a couple of tip for you: soldering a needle to that big nail (way too big, comparing with record grooves), and then use heavy aluminium foil (the one from food trays) for the speaker: aluminium gives a very clear sound.
Think that this way, the sound should come out way clearer; and maybe, even a bit louder.
Thanks 👍
Wow very interested
Probably horrendous for the record but very interesting none the less
Pure stereo sound, dolby surround system better than the Audio Technica or the Technics, ha ha ha (just kidding), I congratulate you on your creativity. I like this video a lot, it is a good project for us who like to do things.
super.
*you don't just throw a vinyl record, you don't*
Try new Antique Gramophone :- amzn.to/36s2P4b
And
Try new Antique Gramovox :- amzn.to/2pwJSgg
*you don't Just pulled the needles across the grooves you Don't*
Yeah I've used %50 alchohol %50 water on my records and they still sound fine
Sir what’s the needle used ,I am trying with stepper motor
DIY how to break your Vinyl records at home
how to reduce vinyl record lifetime to just 2 plays
Why? This is how an actual player works, isn't it?
@@voldy3565 yes but, if you use such kind of sharp needle without proper dimensions the sharpness can break it. Needle also has to have proper angle.
@@kedarprabhudessai what kind of angle?
Very impressive. Good build and the video was well put together also. Liked your simple lathe too. Not the 'simplest' though and having gone to the trouble of building a decent motor system you could add a sound box and more effective horn which would really help the sound. 😀
Tbh, it would have been better if he had used 78s
@@tpc321 Yes 78s are great, I have done lots of experiments with them on my channel 😀
mrrgstuff I was watching your channel, so I could try and 3d print a mikiphone sound box, I’m still working it out! You have great content btw, very interesting
@@tpc321 Thanks. 👍Well yes it is definitely possible to 3D print a decent sounding sound box, though it certainly worth building one or two prototypes to get the design right. I just can't help myself trying to improve on my previous attempts. I just find it so interesting! Glad you enjoyed my channel 😀
@@tpc321 Also would be great to see some videos of your project and good luck with it! 😀👍
Wow, completly not copying The Q's idea, how original

Big like from your new friend.stay connected.
genial diy
Well... It's a good project but it will probably damage your Vinyl records... Nevertheless you tried your best.
Then don't use vinyl try shellac
@@jesshadfield3566 I have only vinyls...
It will ruin shellac records too. Shellac uses a larger needle and a simple pin will scratch it up.
@@captainbeamng6581 Yeah
@@captainbeamng6581Then try sewing needles then.
Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.....
Super i m inspired
It's a smart thing to reduce a pristine analogue recording to trash. Why need a Technics sl1200 or something? Go DIY!
Wonderful work... Keep going....
Thank you bas aapka support chahiye..
The playing part is hard to watch 😖
