      That so cool ♥....wonder what fairy floss would do ?.....a melted mess or would it look like a suspended larva lamp ??

      @thearkguinearescue8477 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Absolutely LOVE this idea! I honestly didn’t even think that the sugar on it would burn like that.., but it totally makes sense, AND it looks like a mini erupting volcano!
      I’d love for you to do a “sweet treats” collection!
      Some chocolate, some soft candy, hard candy, maybe even a cake/muffin! 😊👌

      It took me a while but I now know what it reminds me of.... Jupiter, the king planet.

    I think it would be really cool to cut the jawbreaker in half and then replace the missing half with resin so it's a sphere again but you can see all the layers like in the picture on the side of the box!!

    • @ekulegend
      @ekulegend 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Now i wanna see it but idk how possible it is xD

    • @marzipanmango
      @marzipanmango 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ekulegend I think it'd be possible even if the resin doesn't adhere well to the jawbreaker. You could just submerge the jawbreaker half into resin, then shape it into a sphere. Instead of taking away all the resin around the jawbreaker, you'd leave a thin layer so the jawbreaker half is still encased. I imagine it'd be tricky though!

      @daughteroftheking6402 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Have y’all ever tried breaking or cutting one in half. It’s super hard I’ve used a hammer and that didn’t even work broke some pieces off but that’s about it.

    while I'd never guess based on the final result that this was made from a jawbreaker, I absolutely love the final result. it reminds me of a gaseous planet, the way everything looks like it's swirling

    The way the candy melted was so cool! Looks like the dead eye of some ancient sea monster.
    Maybe for the holidays, you could cast a pine or fir twig (If you can get your hands on any of those) in resin and turn it into an egg or a sphere for an illuminated display piece.

  • @evelyn_r

    Okay, I’ve never worked with resin but I do know more quantity usually equals more heat, and I know heated sugar caramelises so I was “it’s gonna burn the sugar” lol
    What I didn’t expect were the little droplets sugar running down which was really cool. 💖
    Someone thought it looked like a planet but I just see pancakes sandwiching a s’more 😅😅😅

    That turned out really cool the pot cam got some great footage.
    I had one of those when I was a kid (may have been a 'gobstopper')
    2 things happened.
    1. The sugar got rough from licking it and made my tongue bleed.
    2. When it was only just small enough I forced in into my mouth and got it stuck there 😅
