Today ends up being a little interesting, since we're met by a few attraction and dining closures throughout the day.
We see Mickey and the Magician, Disney Stars on Parade, have lunch at Earl of Sandwich, ride Pirates of the Caribbean, Tower of Terror and Rock N Roller Coaster before dinner at Rainforest Cafe.
Throughout this vlog, we'll be sharing fun facts and pro tips about the Disneyland Paris resort, from hotels, through to food & drink.

Newport Bay was our favourite, have stayed at New York and Cheyenne as well so far. We found no fridges in any of the hotels!
There is a ban in France on ‘unlimited’ drinks that contain sugar and sweeteners. It is against the law for them to offer unlimited refills and this is why they have codes on the cups :)

What about unsweetened iced teas or diet drinks? Can you get unlimited refills on those?
Paul Towarnicki As diet drinks contain artificial sweeteners I doubt it, however I’m not sure about iced tea.

Newport Bay is my ride or die! The theming is amazing, the rooms are so light and spacious and they have English plug sockets! When we stayed there we had the longest walk from the entrance to the room (literally the last room in the longest corridor that stretches down to Sequoia Lodge) but that just made it so peaceful. And you’re so close to Earl for breakfast, and you have your own security entrance because I found that all the other lake hotels used the other security. I’ve always wanted to stay in Sequoia because I love the whole forest/woodland vibe but the dated room interiors always put me off of spending my money on it :(

I’ve stayed in New Port Bay and it is AMAZING! Best hotel on Property in my opinion. I’ve stayed in Sequoia Lodge 3 times because it was the cheapest hotel with a pool, but stayed in Hotel Cheyenne last year and it is so much better than Sequoia. The theming of Sequoia is lovely, especially at Christmas but the rooms definitely need a facelift. Once that’s done I think it will be much better 🤓
I stayed at the Sequoia Lodge when I was 8 (14 years ago now) and I was with my grandparents so we had requested to be in the main building so they didn’t have to walk far. Not sure if being in the main building made a difference or if it’s just because it was a long time ago and it’s changed since, but we all absolutely loved it!! However the Disneyland Hotel will always have my heart, even if you do have to sell a piece of your soul to pay for it💗
I recommend Newport Bay to stay in. Beautiful hotel

When I saw Peter Pan swinging it brought me back to an earlier vlog where Flynn Rider was swinging to the tune of Whitney's "I Will Always Love You" lol.
The Rainforest Cafe, although has a fun ambiance. Leaves something to be desired in the food department.

We’ve stayed at Newport Bay Hotel twice and really love it there! The hotel is all refurbished and so beautiful I think it’s definitely worth the extra money to stay here! 😊

My Sunday is not complete without a vlog from Adam. Gary C makes it even better. I have never been to Paris but wouldn't like not having only 2 plugs, no fridge or bad towels. Sounds like a n upgrade is needed.

Great vlog. We’ve stayed in the Santa Fe, Davy Crockett, New York and the Disneyland hotel. For a young family, the Davy Crockett is fantastic. Favourite though is the Disneyland. It’s hard to stay anywhere else once you have stayed there though. It’s just so nice being right at the park entrance and the service is amazing.
Newport Bay and the main Disney hotel both absolutely amazing thinking about going back there in 2022
Nothing beats the Disneyland Hotel. Breakfast at Inventions is so good too.

When I was at Paris couple weeks ago rock and roller was 5 minute wait each time it was great but they had their countdown for the ride ending.

Every time I go to Disneyland Paris, me and my best friend always choose Sante Fe. Even though it's a little dated and the cheapest resort, that nostalgia is perfect. It's the one I stayed at with my parents when I was a kid and it's always a place I want to stay at over and over. Can't quite explain why. The first thing I do is go straight to the gift shop next to the dining hall, get two bars of Milky Bar chocolate, squeeze all the plushies, buy my autograph book and I have arrived at Disneyland. It's also where I'm staying with my partner when I take him to Disneyland for the first time. I can't explain why, but my heart always belongs to Sante Fe
I have stayed in both the Sante Fe Hotel and Newport Bay (Newport Bay more recently). Love Newport Bay so much it's now my hotel of choice and have stayed there twice now because I loved it so much the first time round. Also I have loved watching your California and Paris vlogs!
We stayed at Hotel Cheyenne when we went. We enjoyed the hotel.
I absolutely love Sequoia Lodge! The main reason is the pool with the slide. I do agree that the lodges need to be updated, but you should try to stay in one of the rooms that are located in the main building. These are a lot better. Yes, they cost a bit more, but it is worth it!
I really like Cheyenne too! Newport bay was great as the walk was shorter

We stayed in July of 2006 at the Sequoia Lodge in the Honeymoon Suite. It was incredibly hot in the room. They could not give us a fan and told us the a/c was working fine. But we enjoyed EuroDisney though
I know I’m watching this very late😅But you guys NEED to go to Newport Bay Club. I stayed there with my family and I LOVED it. It was so beautiful and close to the park🤗
I think Hotel Cheyenne will always be my favourite Disneyland hotel
Favourite resort is the New port bay, of course disneyland hotel is magical but I think it´s too pricey for what it actually is, it´s a nice experience for a special occasion, especially in the castle club, else it´s New port bay all the way ESPECIALLY in the yacht club rooms :D
I would suggest that you try the rooms in the main building of sequoia Lodge. I absolutely love sequoia Lodge. You should use the pool there next time as well.

I stayed at the Sequoia Lodge last August and loved it. It was a Golden Forrest club level room, which I would 100% recommend! The breakfast buffet and the extra snacks throughout the day were great.
I go nearly every year and always stay in Disneyland Hotel.
My favourite is the Newport bay!
Stayed at Hotel New York a few times. Great hotel with a fantastic bar. Food - enjoyed Annette’s diner and King Ludwig’s most in the village. A few years ago now.

I know this is old but I just found you guys and have been binge watching all your trips. I see you did stay at Newport Bay and that would have been my recommendation. It’s been over 20 years but I really loved it.
Great vlog xx we stayed in Newport Bay hotel in 2016 it’s nice but no fridge there either I did get a kettle brought up to the room so I could have my tea lol 😝 so British. there was 4 of us the room was a bit small but I would stay there again if I had the money xx 😘
Cheyenne is amazing and I love the western theming, Santa Fe was neither here or there although it did have plenty of plug sockets and Newport Bay is incredible; room decor is on point
In 4 DLP trips I did hotel NY once and Cheyenne 3 times 😁 I haven't been in about ... 15 years? but it's still my favourite, and most likely my first pick when I go back 😁 Yeah, it's cheap(er) and there's more walking around to get from place to place, but the theming makes up for it.
Newport Bay was fabulous. Loved it!
I stayed at Vienna dream house with my friend back in 2018 and it was beautiful! The only let down was the in hotel dining but the rest was lovely, the rooms were huge and nicely decortated, lots of plugs, and great spaceous bathroom:)
We stayed in the Sequoia Lodge for my 30th birthday and it's hands down the best DLP resort I've stayed in BUT I was in a Golden Forest Club room which I think made the world of difference.
New York is amazing and they are doing it up so will be all new. Close to the park and really accessable

We stayed in Newport Bay Dec 2017 and it was really lovely. Great breakfast and Cape Cod was very nice place for an evening meal.
Oh and the Hotel New York by far my fav Disneyland hotel that I’ve stayed in! Obviously it’s under refurb at the moment!

Stayed at Newport Bay and our room was more or less identical to that one you were in apart from different theming. It cost an awful amount of money and I would not stay there again. Thanks for the vlogs, I adore watching you two.
Upvoted this as I agree. Common areas are stunning, rooms are sub-par for the price. Considering it's basically the same theme as WDW's Yacht Club and they were renovated around the same time, the quality is worlds apart. We're staying at Cheyenne next time, no question. Might try Marvel after it opens, depending on the room fit out.
Oh yasss..another DLP vlog with you and Gary..love..love it! The only Hotel I didn't stay in is the Disneyland Hotel...hope one day to stay their, so far I liked the New Port Bay Hotel the best. Can't wait to see your next vlog..you always make me smile 😘
My favourite resort was hotel New York! But I must admit I love sequoia but I said in a different lodge, didn’t have a fridge or iron but didn’t have more sockets! 😊
Disneyland Hotel 🥰 well it’s the only one I’ve stayed in, but I would 100% stop in Newport Bay
I really liked the New York hotel that I stayed in, but I can’t remember if there was a fridge, but I didn’t need one so regardless it would have been fine. Of course it is being changed now so I’m sure it’ll still be great to stay in.
Honestly, even though its not right on top of the parks, still technically a Disney hotel, Villages Nature Paris was INCREDIBLE. I believe its part owned by centre parcs so you get whole apartments which are beautifully furnished (with fridges ;) and a whole kitchen for that matter) use of their amazing swimming pool, petting zoo, nature walk, there's restraints and a shop and bowling on site as well. There's a bus that costs 2 euros it takes about 20 minutes to get to the parks and it drops you right outside. You still get extra magic hours and I think once you've been in the park all day its nice to go back somewhere that isn't emblazoned with mickey mouses face. Its way cheaper than any of the resorts next to the parks (and im my opinion WAY nicer) and if you fly its the first drop off on the magical express. I would highly recommend it.
Surprisingly I would choose to stay in Sequoia Lodge as it is my favourite DLP resort, I just love the theming and our room was actually very nice, we were lucky as I think it had just been refurbished in the main building and we were part of the Golden Forest Club which is a lot more pricey but definitely improves the SL experience our room also had a lake side view enabling us to watch the fireworks but it shouldn't be you have to pay more money for a good room. A shame you didn't feel the same way but as is everything its all a matter of opinion based on experience; mine was back in 2014 and I do agree since looking at it before we go again next year in April 2020 it does clearly need a refurb in other areas of the hotel. I've been to Newport Bay Club twice and is amazing probably my second favourite behind SL, brilliant especially during the Summer would definitely recommend! Great vlogs you are both absolutely hilarious and such a joy to watch on the screen. :)

We stayed there in August in the main building, they had updated the rooms, more plugs usbs etc, the part you stayed in was closed and work ongoing

Me and my friend went to Disney Paris in September 2016. Cast members at Tower of Terror were on their cellphones, their uniforms were unbuttoned and seemed to not care. It was a lovely change going to Disneyworld in 2017. Disney Paris was nice, but I enjoyed Disney world much more. Just didn’t have the same Disney magic as Disney World. Going with my mom on her first visit to WDW in early December. Hope it still is a go. Cannot wait to be in the parks with the Christmas touch. 🇨🇦😊
I wouldn't mind if they replaced the Beauty & the Beast show at Hollywood Studios with that Mickey show. It looked amazing.

Newport bay is my favourite hotel at DLP. I have stayed at Hotel Cheyenne and Sequoia Lodge but since staying at Newport Bay I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
Have to say that my favourite hotel is the Sequoia Lodge but we always book a golden forest room. 52 days to go 😀
I stayed at hotel Santa fa and hotel Cheyenne and I loved them both.
Basically all the hotel rooms are just the same. Stayed at all of them except Hotel New York and the Disneyland Hotel and I would basically just go for the one that's the cheapest when you're going. 😅
We always stay in Airbnb’s in Val d’Europe which is a really short walk away from the park (about same as from Hotel Santa Fe) and you can get them for around £60 a night. Bargain!!

Stayed in Disneylan hotel. Was fab
I have only stayed in Cheyenne but had a lovely stay. We were lucky - we were in a Texas Room which was refurbished. Lots of plugs, can't remember if there was an iron but no fridge. To be honest not many hotels in Europe have fridges as standard (from my experience), especially if they are designed as short stay hotels. I've stayed at an Intercontinental which is 5 star and they had a fridge but it was a minibar so completely full. Much more standard to have a fridges in America or in resorts designed for a longer stay. However Sequioa clearly needs a renovation especially for the price.
I also find the restaurant thing very frustrating with nothing being open or only open for either lunch or dinner. The app isn't very helpful either. I guess we're too used to the US parks were everything is open all the time and you are spoilt for choice!
