Super helpful for those who have or will pull Caoilte. Frankly I think he will be most used for those on their way up Arena/LA/Siege rather than at the very top end. In any event, I do love that you ran him against a wide range of opponents. As always, thanks for the video.

Hi Drock, I use my Caiolte in Lethal+pinpoint. Armanz cant poly him right away, and Armanz A2 still procs his passive giving him a instant turn because its the TM reduction that activates it.

Yeah I mention that's about the only way you can build him to make it work. I wish his passive reacted the same to sheep and turn meter decrease. Then he'd be a lot better. Though his A2 is still problematic since you can't select who he hits in the follow-up. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Wow man, i pulled him and i've litrally had your exact same reaction. Its so frustrating, I was also disappointed with his damage. He is good in the midgame, where everyone has arman but not the other broken champs, but end game arena its just not gana work.
Yep. He's so close to being really good but per usual with Plarium he's sadly half baked on arrival.
I heard the hardest part of playing caolite is the fact if played to counter Armanz they can always ban him than it ruines everything about the setup but idk because I don’t have him however I just pulled arnon going to have kruysen build em for cvc.
Also very true. They can ban him or they can sheep him if he's not in Pinpoint. You can't put him in Stoneskin either or it negates his passive. He's just a poorly built champion per usual from Plarium. Enraging.
Yeah dude the one thing everybody misses is that the Armanz counter passive is only once every 5 turns which is making it practically useless and there's nothing stopping the stun part of Armanz attack so if you don't have block debuff on youre gonna get stunned and the instant attack won't work. They need to sit down and take a serious look at him cus he absolutely needs a rework so he does what I think they intended him to do. And yeah definitely needs a stone skin mitigation

As one who doesn't have everything, but I have him, he looks like a good utility nuker, I would use him vs armanz and I finally got a somewhat reliable solution to the mythical bird and siegfrund
I would use him in 3v3 arena so I might reliably stay in gold because everyone uses armanz

I think he is built as a counter against TM Reduction teams. 250k damage + 80% which than equates to 450k damage is then a really strong nuke, Isn’t it?

Ive been enjoying him in the lower ranks, gold 1. If the enemy has armanz + another lockout, i chose him and ban their lockout. Then destroy armanz.
We want aphidus in that gear. Haven't seen any good video on him after the buff.

I have him and built him in full Slayer, because I don`t have a full Merciless set for him. I`m not very satisfied with him in full slayer, so I would probably change in lethal + cruel / pinpoint if I have enough pieces

It's an irrelevant question, but I recently got Harima, and I'm wondering if she's still meta or has fallen off.
She's definitely still good but has fallen off due to how insanely strong going first is now thanks to Pinpoint. Strong and fast teams can blow through her passive no problem. It's a shame.
I dont think Caoilte is meant for classic, he is meant more for live/siege. Live, you can ban someone other than armanz and slot him in. If Caoilte gets banned, he probably took the ban over some other op champ. If Caoitle is still around, armanz cant use his a2 so the a3 is the alternative. I would rather Caoilte take the sheep than another champ so forcing my opponent to sheep him isn't bad. He's not meant to be the only damage dealer but trying to extend his utility beyond this, yeah, hes not going to perform.

Just like you, I pulled him during the x15 and was super pumped. Then I geared him in insane leathal/stoneskin gear and was meh. Was so disappointed. I even have a 6 star awakening for him and was still not impressed.
