@@squeeeps everyone has been saying to ban IP address's, not just kinggeorge. But that won't do shit. People know how to change their ip address using a vpn or other methods. Sure, I suppose banning people's IP address's would do something. But people also said 2-step verification would do "something". Look where that got us.

Potential fixes:
Death skyboxes: If a player is located in a place for example, in a place high up in the sky not accessible in traditional play. They may be instantly banned or immediately killed.
Movement detection: If a player is moving at incredibly fast speeds. Phasing through multiple walls and objects. A warning shou,d be issued first, then an immediate ban should be placed.
Anti-kill: Players should be unable to be damaged by the other team besides Twitch Drone before the prep-phase ends.
Immediate kill starts: Once a single player immediately kills the entire enemy team once the round starts, (10 seconds after start) their damage delt will be immediately ignored. (headshots, body shots, grenades, impacts etc.) If the player still somehow gains a kill. They are immediately banned.
Watch-dog: try a system like CS:GO, trusted long time players can take the role of a watch dog, once a player is reported. (Top priority given to multiple reports at once) They are sent to a list where trusted players may watch in-game footage of said player. Once enough proof has been taped, they may be perma-banned, week-banned, day-banned or warned. Once the player is banned, lost elo from the opposing team is re-gained and anyone on the opposite team loses theirs.
I know Anti-cheats are hard to develop, but putting the time to fix them is worth it to atleast keep this game thriving. I play it my self, though I don’t play on the PC versions. It’s genuinely frustrating watching these players being cheated out of victories by script clowns.

Arnamo you can’t entirely blame Ubisoft, they have already placed a two step verification to make new accounts. That’s as much as any other developer has done because that’s as much as you can do.

I think its easy to counter these prep phase cheaters: if somebody kills someone from the other team in the prep phase, that guy would get a ban immediately

That's pretty rare that a twitch drone would kill in prep especially considering it inly has 5 shocks, collateral damage unfortunately
They could make it so twitch drone kills doesnt count. Its possible for a twitch drone to kill somebody in prep phase if that guys health was brought down by ex. an explosive

A fix to this cheat is since the attacker model and hitbox doesnt spawn in Prep phase, Ubi should make it so it does but its somewhere the defenders cannot reach

this has been done time and again...... there are countless bugs and network translation issues..... on top of this video? this game will never be fixed. its more of an experiment for the industry than it is its own functioning success...... i have waited 3 years for this game to work. somehow people still think ranked matters. not sure how many games where people on both teams are talking about people eating headshots. so who is really skilled? no one can even tell because its a coin toss if the game will even work.

while I agree almost 99% of the time when players think they hit a headshot they haven't. They just see blood off the shoulders or neck and think it hits the head.

Step 4 automatically detect if someone dies during prep phase (aside from twitch drone)

Ubisoft already does steps 1 and 2. An ip ban can be circumvented with a VPN. A hardware address can be spoofed

@@Matthew-no4dn battleye will collect it and hardware addresses and add them to a blacklist when banned. It seems to be Uplay wide because one guy tried creating a Uplay account but got told his ip was banned
Ubisoft is stupid to only add a bounding box under the map because if you glitch through you eventually die. They definitely should have a bounding box above the map, prevent any movement over a certain distance (teleporting), and prevent damage during prep phase besides team damage and twitch drones

siege is done at this point as a loyal fan of the game that played since 2015 and got to 3000+ hours I don't want to play it anymore. The hackers are only getting worse each season, that is on top of gliyches ping abusers and all that, if they cannot even fix one issue then whats the point of adding more to the game. The problem is that by the time they fix the issues with cheaters it will be too late many people already resigned from playing the game as issues, not only cheaters are just stacking up... Pls ubisoft fix our beloved game
@JustFiz Ok I worded myself in the wrong way, people that voluntarily abuse the ping by switching servers, for example EUS to WEU are put in the disadvanatge however people from lets say Irar, Iran or bottom parts of Italy or even Spain can even have around 100-130 ping and they still have the advantage, but yes they are not ping abusers because they simply don't have any servers that are closer. This brings me to another issue Ubisoft did not build any servers or is planning to build any somwhere around Iran or generaly anywhere in a Arabic country, I understand its expensive but as a customer you would expect better and not have that much ping. Lets look at EA although their reputation got very shit ine the past 2 years they have huge amount of servers scattered accross all continents, and ubisoft onlt has 1 on the african contiinent, 2 in EU, 3 in US, 2/3, In Brazil and 3/4 in Asia which is not good enough for the amount of people that pplay the game.

I only use a glitch in the map of Black ice (i dont remember the name) that makes you can get in into the ice and into the map but i dont used that glitch to kill the enemy team or something else cus is coward and unloyable i only use it one time cus is funny prank with my friends and after play normal xd

I'm on console, so I've never met or talked to a hacker... at some point, people might be "forced" to switch to console, just because of the hacker issues... but imagine if that was the case... people switching to console, just to get away from the hackers... Conspiracy theory: Maybe it's because Ubi wants people to switch, so people use more money on the game, so they let hackers run around and ruin games, so people buy the game on console... That's probably not true, but one might wonder. I hope they do a couple of ban waves again
People unfortunately still pay hackers to boost them, so these people are making money, therefore still have motivation to continue hacking.
Meeting cheaters on PS4 is uncommon, but common at the same time. In Ranked, if you play anywhere from Gold to Diamond, you're more likely to encounter cheaters. That's because their matches are all wins, so therefore they're super high ranked. And, though it's rare, you'll sometimes find ones in ranks Silver to Copper, who have deranked themselves for some reason. During this time they likely turn off their cheats while they derank. I saw a guy on my team at one point, 27.0 KD with a 36.0 Win/Loss. He was cheating. Walls, Projectile Aimbot, and the teleporting crap. I've just learned to teamkill them and then let the enemy win, or surrender the match after reporting them.
I've played nearly a 1000 hours of siege, and I've never encountered one... but maybe that's because when I die, I always assume that, they are better than me

I’ve ran into someone who was level like 300 or something and all I remember is that everyone I was with was saying “no one would hack at that level” the dude was definitely cheating and it’s crazy that they aren’t banned.
