Me and my husband both work full time techy jobs. Thank goodness we were blessed enough to wfh during this time. We have two small children 3 and 1 and it’s extremely hard to watch them and work full time. I love the company I work for they are so flexible with me and my hubby’s work is also very flexible. I think they just understand that they have to be, everyone these days has to be flexible. We are all in this together and we all should work together during this time. There are days where the kids are harder to handle than others but I’m just thankful that we are all safe and healthy. Thanks for sharing! 😊❤️👏🏽
Thank you for being honest and vulnerable. I think I have a meltdown every few weeks. Life starts wearing on you and it feels like things will never get better. I think one problem is that we feel like we have nothing to look forward to because there is no end in sight with this virus. I tend to be a creature of habit and I just want life to be normal again. Our family has canceled vacation this year and at this point it feels like the holidays will be modified. Thank God for my husband, he puts me back together every time I fall apart. Thank you so much for taking the time to film these videos! They are completely inspirational and so are you. ❤️❤️

Hey Lynn! You’re so right, parenting is hard at times and right now is definitely a time to encourage each other. Our kids attend a hybrid school for homeschoolers(1 to 2 days a week or use them as a covering). This year we’re using their school as a covering. Also, we did ask our boys what they wanted to do and they wanted to stay home this year anyways.

I would love to see the back to school haul, I know what you mean about the quarantine, we just did a 2 night beach trip and I feel so refreshed, just a change of scenery, just what we needed, I do think the children need to be in school, the Florida counties seem to be trying to get a plan together, I do worry my daughter is a school teacher, it’s just about being safe! I live in California and in my county we are starting the year with full distance learning. I'm definitely ready to send my son back to school, but I'm glad we're starting with distance learning. My daughter is homeschooled already because she has special needs and a rare autoimmune disease, and as a result of treatment she is immunocompromised. So I'm glad its distance learning for now.

I have that same carpet shampoo machine and it’s awesome! I used to get Stanley steamer to do ours too, but it just makes so much more sense to do it yourself with a one time machine purchase. I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who uses the sniff test on laundry. ;)

My son who is 14 and starting high school wont be going back to regular school. He has multiple underlying health problems and I just dont feel comfortable sending him back. Ive always been an introvert, so being home all the time doesnt bother me. I hate going to the store when things are "normal". Hope things are getting better for you!! Much love from Kentucky!!
I’m from NJ and we’ve had our mandatory mask ordinance since March. I don’t have kids, two doggies only but whether you have kids or not this is difficult for everyone. It’s a lifestyle adjustment but you do get use to wearing the masks and seeing others wear them. I am currently unemployed and have moments where I break down but everything will be ok. We just have to do our part in being respectful, responsible, and safe. Stay strong Lynn! You’re not alone in this!

I work in an optical office so we are healthcare as well as retail and it is tough. Between masks and sanitization and social distancing, it’s a real struggle. We’re 5/6 months in, I’m stuck in finding what’s best for my kids. Homeschooling is hard for me in this stage of life with two young ones and I just don’t want my school aged kids education to suffer. Plus my 6 year old is so social and loves being at school. So I’m definitely struggling with what will work best for our family.
As for selling a house and buying another, we’ve run the gamut! We have sold, rented, and then bought another. We’ve moved from city to city (my husband is a retired computer programmer/systems engineer) and after selling in the old city, rented until we decided what area of a new city to settle in and then bought. But our last move from Charlotte back to the Dallas area where our daughters live, we decided to build and started the build in February of ‘07, sold our home in NC in July 3 days before closing here in the Dallas area. We married young (I was 18, he was 22) and went to college, have been married 51 years. After college we left our home state of Oklahoma (go OSU Cowboys! 🧡) and have altogether lived in 7 states and owned 7 houses. So we have a lot of experience in buying and selling. I feel the Lord gave us His guidance each time! I know if you lean on Him He will guide you as well! Bless you in your new home!

Girl you have inspired me to go through my four kids clothes. When we lived in a smaller space I used to do it twice a year bc we didn't have a lot of room. But now in this bigger space I've gotten lazy about decluttering their wardrobes. Thanks for the motivation! Xo
We sold our home before our new house was ready, so we had to rent a Condo for 3 months. Had to put most in storage and kept the minimal. No change in schools but had to move 3 little children twice and they were champs. Had to pay a penalty to break lease early but oh well.
I think a steamer would help you in the bathroom. We used it at a hotel in the shower when we deep cleaned. Everything just came of by itself. So easy!

My Kids have been home for 5 months! I already homeschool my youngest, but we decided to keep my daughter home this coming fall. We live in Texas so it's bad. We actually started school today cause kids are so bored! It was a nice day!
We did major reno of new home sold our old one & had to live in a rental for 6-7 mos. we rented in the school system our new home was in. It was a very hectic time overseeing the reno...living in a rental w three little boys & had some stuff in storage! But it all worked out & we live our newly renovated home!(it’s been nearly 8 yrs but figured I’d share;) also found out my hubby was cheating on me & we are now divorced so to say stressful time is an understatement!!😂😂) love u Lynn & ur family😘❤️🙏🏻
I know exactly what you mean Lynn. Nothing will EVER be the same. My husband died on March 9th of kidney cancer and literally three days later we were having to cancel his memorial service because of the virus. As I was walking around numb and in shock from his passing it seemed like after he died the world around me was falling apart too, literally. I have gone thru so many things since then that would have shocked him to the core or maybe not as he was a true conspiracy theorist, lol. It's all just so wierd and surreal. The only thing that makes it bearable is that we are all going thru the exact same thing at the exact same time.
I read your comment and just wanted to say I am so sorry even though I know no words suffice. You sound like a brave woman. I bet he laughed at your conspiracy theorist comment. If some days all you can do is put one foot in front of the other and breathe in and out, that IS a victory. I don’t know you but I’m proud of you for withstanding the storm. Keep on keepin’ on. 🖤

Love to watch your video's, you guys are cute couple. We put our house on the market and it sold the second day of showing!!!! We had no house in mind to buy, in fact we had not even looked!! Thank goodness for good friends with a beach house that saved our butts, lol we stayed there for 2 months and all our stuff was in storage, but we did find a house and are getting settled now.
Wall looks great...wish I had a handy man. I amhandy & usd to do a lot butI can't seem to get up the energy to do it anymore. At 72 it's hard to throwthings around & I got rid of all my big tools when I moved

Yes, moving is a hard decision but find a condo with a pool... haha in the same schools' district of your new house! Don't be afraid to move but I will sell my house stat, especially now when things are so unstable. We did that and it was an awesome transition. The Lord will provide what's needed next. The video just started and I have to say I’m so glad to see someone using those headphones while they work. I use mine to listen to podcast while I clean. When my family sees them they know I’m in the zone 😂
I had a perfectionist Father who LOVED his projects! His advise was to ALWAYS Feather Edge all latching.. then use Semi-gloss latex paint. You can clean it sooo easier! He was right! I moved into my current home 29 yrs ago April.. I’m On the same paint job! Glidden brand Semi-gloss látex! My Sister wished she had chosen what I did when she did her custom build.. She said she couldn’t wipe w/a rag or sponge!! It just didn’t budge!! Soo she repainted! Then found a buyer!! She did hers w/ her paying the buyers rent till all parties were here in town. She then had time to shop for a decent rental till she could Reno the condos into 1 large one. Now other Condo owner friends.. love sis’s Reno! New everything!! Pendant lighting.. stand alone tub... invisible shelving on each side of the mounted lg TV!! They come over to gawk!! I learned soo much from Dad & helping Sis!

Lynn White that is when you patch and let it dry well then sand it till there are no apparent edges detectable. My Father was a perfectionist. He worked on my house for the first month after I bought it! He was soo funny... he tried to spare my feelings, but couldn’t hold back when I went all out to paint my bedroom a Violette/Blue color. He said..”Babe, you’ll never be able to sell it if it’s not neutral!!” I told him . Dad, I just bought it!! Duh!! He wanted the best for me!! Miss him so.. just to site another instance of his perfectionism... he laid row upon row of cinder blocks... and his friend was a Surveyor. He volunteered to the heck of it to see just how straight the walls went up. My Dad was only 1/16” off being perfect w/ just his eye & a level! Robert couldn’t believe how accurate Dad was!! Building was NOT his forte. He was an Office Machine Repairman! Ie the old Typewriters.. adding machines.. Gestetners... Ditto Machines (made you high running off your copies) Ah... the olden days!! (Dates me!!)
☀️Lynn, we built our home and the way we did it is we sold the house and leased it back from the new owners until our home was complete. Obviously you have to find the right buyers for a deal like this one. 😘
Yes on a back to school haul. Omg I laughed so hard when you scooted hazel on the blanket on your bed😂😂😂. We’re choosing to keep our kids home for the first quarter. Our county is providing a LaunchED model where the teacher teaches as normal, but in front of a camera instead of a bunch of kids, or a limited amount of kids. The model is fluid and ever evolving so we hope that things will get a little more stabilized and more knowledge will be available by the second quarter
My son has been home since 3/13/20 he’s a senior this year so he graduated, at the end of May they put together a small ceremony for each senior & let them wear cap & gown & receive their diploma. It’s not what he was hoping for after working so hard to get to this point but he’s done now. He’s trying to find a job as well but that’s also difficult not to many places are hiring.
Sometimes I really get down with this virus. Just like other people I long to be around family and friends that are not in my household. Ship lap pretty. 👍🏾❤❤❤
I use to have a flooring company and I learned from all the builders I delt with that the reason a new home has only flat paint and no gloss is to hide all the problems in the dry wall so u wont see it . Also for a new home before u sign off take a level and check your floors. When foundation is poured it needs to be checked and they dont do 99.9% of the time.
I'm a single mom. I was a home Health Aide but they put my hours down to 6 hours a week because of this, and so I had to do something. I go to school full time now, and homeschool my kids when I'm done. I am doing homeschool because here in Oklahoma the school district that we are in it's either 4 month homeschool or whole year. I want to make sure that my kids are safe, I already have to take them to a small daycare, I don't want them around more kids with school on top of that. Plus I want to make sure it is more controlled before I send my kids back. It will never be like it was before, but like other pandemics we will just learn a new way, and sometimes it turns out better.
We’re in Florida too so my son has been out since mid March. He wants to go back so we said okay. He’s going into fourth grade and he wants to be with friends. He’s very social so he had a hard time with distance learning. They will have to wear masks. Great, but I just don’t know. I’m not completely comfortable with it but he really wants to go. So we’ll see how it goes. And I feel really off as well. Nothing feels right. I’m praying that we will all find some sort of “new” normal soon.

As for selling a house and buying another, we’ve run the gamut! We have sold, rented, and then bought another. We’ve moved from city to city (my husband is a retired computer programmer/systems engineer) and after selling in the old city, rented until we decided what area of a new city to settle in and then bought. But our last move from Charlotte back to the Dallas area where our daughters live, we decided to build and started the build in February of ‘07, sold our home in NC in July 3 days before closing here in the Dallas area. We married young (I was 18, he was 22) and went to college, have been married 51 years. After college we left our home state of Oklahoma (go OSU Cowboys! 🧡) and have altogether lived in 7 states and owned 7 houses. So we have a lot of experience in buying and selling. I feel the Lord gave us His guidance each time! I know if you lean on Him He will guide you as well! Bless you in your new home!

We sold our home before our new house was ready, so we had to rent a Condo for 3 months. Had to put most in storage and kept the minimal. No change in schools but had to move 3 little children twice and they were champs. Had to pay a penalty to break lease early but oh well.

I think a steamer would help you in the bathroom. We used it at a hotel in the shower when we deep cleaned. Everything just came of by itself. So easy!

My Kids have been home for 5 months! I already homeschool my youngest, but we decided to keep my daughter home this coming fall. We live in Texas so it's bad. We actually started school today cause kids are so bored! It was a nice day!

We did major reno of new home sold our old one & had to live in a rental for 6-7 mos. we rented in the school system our new home was in. It was a very hectic time overseeing the reno...living in a rental w three little boys & had some stuff in storage! But it all worked out & we live our newly renovated home!(it’s been nearly 8 yrs but figured I’d share;) also found out my hubby was cheating on me & we are now divorced so to say stressful time is an understatement!!😂😂) love u Lynn & ur family😘❤️🙏🏻

I know exactly what you mean Lynn. Nothing will EVER be the same. My husband died on March 9th of kidney cancer and literally three days later we were having to cancel his memorial service because of the virus. As I was walking around numb and in shock from his passing it seemed like after he died the world around me was falling apart too, literally. I have gone thru so many things since then that would have shocked him to the core or maybe not as he was a true conspiracy theorist, lol. It's all just so wierd and surreal. The only thing that makes it bearable is that we are all going thru the exact same thing at the exact same time.
I read your comment and just wanted to say I am so sorry even though I know no words suffice. You sound like a brave woman. I bet he laughed at your conspiracy theorist comment. If some days all you can do is put one foot in front of the other and breathe in and out, that IS a victory. I don’t know you but I’m proud of you for withstanding the storm. Keep on keepin’ on. 🖤

Love to watch your video's, you guys are cute couple. We put our house on the market and it sold the second day of showing!!!! We had no house in mind to buy, in fact we had not even looked!! Thank goodness for good friends with a beach house that saved our butts, lol we stayed there for 2 months and all our stuff was in storage, but we did find a house and are getting settled now.

Yes, moving is a hard decision but find a condo with a pool... haha in the same schools' district of your new house! Don't be afraid to move but I will sell my house stat, especially now when things are so unstable. We did that and it was an awesome transition. The Lord will provide what's needed next. I had a perfectionist Father who LOVED his projects! His advise was to ALWAYS Feather Edge all latching.. then use Semi-gloss latex paint. You can clean it sooo easier! He was right! I moved into my current home 29 yrs ago April.. I’m

brand Semi-gloss látex! My Sister wished she had chosen what I did when she did her custom build.. She said she couldn’t wipe w/a rag or sponge!! It just didn’t budge!! Soo she repainted! Then found a buyer!! She did hers w/ her paying the buyers rent till all parties were here in town. She then had time to shop for a decent rental till she could Reno the condos into 1 large one. Now other Condo owner friends.. love sis’s Reno! New everything!! Pendant lighting.. stand alone tub... invisible shelving on each side of the mounted lg TV!! They come over to gawk!! I learned soo much from Dad & helping Sis!

Lynn White that is when you patch and let it dry well then sand it till there are no apparent edges detectable. My Father was a perfectionist. He worked on my house for the first month after I bought it! He was soo funny... he tried to spare my feelings, but couldn’t hold back when I went all out to paint my bedroom a Violette/Blue color. He said..”Babe, you’ll never be able to sell it if it’s not neutral!!” I told him . Dad, I just bought it!! Duh!! He wanted the best for me!! Miss him so.. just to site another instance of his perfectionism... he laid row upon row of cinder blocks... and his friend was a Surveyor. He volunteered to the heck of it to see just how straight the walls went up. My Dad was only 1/16” off being perfect w/ just his eye & a level! Robert couldn’t believe how accurate Dad was!! Building was NOT his forte. He was an Office Machine Repairman! Ie the old Typewriters.. adding machines.. Gestetners... Ditto Machines (made you high running off your copies) Ah... the olden days!! (Dates me!!)

☀️Lynn, we built our home and the way we did it is we sold the house and leased it back from the new owners until our home was complete. Obviously you have to find the right buyers for a deal like this one. 😘

Yes on a back to school haul. Omg I laughed so hard when you scooted hazel on the blanket on your bed😂😂😂. We’re choosing to keep our kids home for the first quarter. Our county is providing a LaunchED model where the teacher teaches as normal, but in front of a camera instead of a bunch of kids, or a limited amount of kids. The model is fluid and ever evolving so we hope that things will get a little more stabilized and more knowledge will be available by the second quarter
Luckily we have 3 options but for my kids they want to go back so we shall see.

My son has been home since 3/13/20 he’s a senior this year so he graduated, at the end of May they put together a small ceremony for each senior & let them wear cap & gown & receive their diploma. It’s not what he was hoping for after working so hard to get to this point but he’s done now. He’s trying to find a job as well but that’s also difficult not to many places are hiring.

I use to have a flooring company and I learned from all the builders I delt with that the reason a new home has only flat paint and no gloss is to hide all the problems in the dry wall so u wont see it . Also for a new home before u sign off take a level and check your floors. When foundation is poured it needs to be checked and they dont do 99.9% of the time.
I'm a single mom. I was a home Health Aide but they put my hours down to 6 hours a week because of this, and so I had to do something. I go to school full time now, and homeschool my kids when I'm done. I am doing homeschool because here in Oklahoma the school district that we are in it's either 4 month homeschool or whole year. I want to make sure that my kids are safe, I already have to take them to a small daycare, I don't want them around more kids with school on top of that. Plus I want to make sure it is more controlled before I send my kids back. It will never be like it was before, but like other pandemics we will just learn a new way, and sometimes it turns out better.
We’re in Florida too so my son has been out since mid March. He wants to go back so we said okay. He’s going into fourth grade and he wants to be with friends. He’s very social so he had a hard time with distance learning. They will have to wear masks. Great, but I just don’t know. I’m not completely comfortable with it but he really wants to go. So we’ll see how it goes. And I feel really off as well. Nothing feels right. I’m praying that we will all find some sort of “new” normal soon.

So I have been slowly getting use to the idea of getting another pup sometime. What type of dog is hazel ?
