To be honest synastries always seem to describe accurately the relationship, while each composite I've seen with people I've known for many years and we have a good relationship sucks. So composites do not seem accurate imo.
I’m also curious about this. I have a great synastry with my partner including Saturn Trine Sun, flowing Moon - Sun connections, among many others. However, our composite has at least a dozen squares, many of which are not grim (mercury square Jupiter, mars opp Jupiter, sun square Jupiter) etc. The bond I have with this individual is the strongest I’ve ever known and there is intense loyalty. Because of this, I don’t take composites very seriously.
And what if synastry is terrible (sun,moon square saturn, uranus square sun etc)and composite is nice,sun trine saturn, venus in 7th house and other good things)

Moon in the 11th. NN conj pluto and vertex in the 6th. Saturn sextile venus and trine moon exact. Mars trine pluto. Pluto sextile neptune. Moon aries inconjunct mars in cancer. Mars square venus in libra. How could that manifest especially the chiron juno in the 1st?
You can use other forms of divination, like tarot, runes, or pendulum readings in order to get more information, but for astrology you absolutely need the month, day, and year of birth. The time and location of birth will provide even more insight.

Do you use regular mid-point chart or the Davison chart? Also, what house system do you use?
Our composite sun, moon, mercury, Venus and Jupiter are in virgo. All in 8th house except for the moon in 9th.
What about the housing system? Equal, placidus or...?
I find placidus to give more detail and be more accurate.
