I’ve been using Lamson reels for years. My first reel was a Lamson click and paw and I still love it and use it today. This is great offering for anyone getting into flyfishing. This outfit or a Orvis Clearwater combo are probably the best value starter outfits on the market today.
Tim we are on The Same Wave Length! I own 3 different Lamson Fly Reels! I CRIED when they discontinued My First! The KONIC! I still have it and LOVE IT! I finally met you 2 years ago at The Edison NJ Fly Fishing Show. I was looking for You last January.
I cast this rod this past weekend; it is a super castable rod that will satisfy a wide range of fly fishers, from novice to advanced. It really seems like a great value.
Appreciate you sharing your experience with others. It's a great choice for lots of fly fishers out there, and I was happy to share some initial thoughts. Tim www.troutandfeather.com
Hi Tim, been thinking about starting fly fishing, never old a fly fishing rod in my hand, never seen a fly lol. Last year or so i stumbled across your channel and i got super impressed with you and your channel and that led me into a rabbit hole of fly fishing and flys and all the gear you need to start and all the different types of castings and the best ways to learn etc… I am completely hooked on fly fishing but at the same time completely overwhelmed by the sport and the amount of learning and gear someone needs just to start. Any suggestions or advice would be great, I’m turning 43 in June and would love to start fly fishing. Thanks for everything

Tim, that was a great review of Lamson rod and reel. Will give that outfit some consideration. Thanks. 👌
Great review, thanks for posting!
Great video - I enjoy your positivity!
Very informative video. While bringing out the advantages of this product, you did discuss some of the drawbacks. A+!
You can't beat that value. Great review!
Lamson in my opinion is the best you can buy.

It does look like a nice rod & reel. Maybe someday I'll get to try their brand. Thanks for sharing.
Can’t wait 😉
Looks very nice
Would have considered this set if it came in a #3 weight.
Lamson makes some fine quality products.
Great video love my lightspeed. Looking for a 3wt rod, that would be nice.

Did you find out if you can you disable the clicker?
How is the Lamson Liquid rod? The reel looks solid!
So far, so good, it's a solid setup that I recommend above all others at that price point! Tim www.troutandfeather.com
@@TimCammisawould you recommend this over the Clearwater outfit?
Solid reels. Their rods need more reviews / publicity before I'd buy one.
I would miss my click if I didn't have it but that one sounds a little too loud!
