Resume:
1. Have a body position where you can see the ball and your teammate to receive it, but at the same time to see if any defenders are heading your way
2. Constantly lift up your head to scan the field (doesn’t mean you shouldn’t also look at the ball at some times)
3. Stand on the top of your feet to have better and faster control of the ball when it comes your way
4. Focus on your accuracy instead of your power because even if you have power, that won’t get you anywhere if you don’t have the accuracy to shoot it on target
5. Always have your arms ready to protect the ball and hold the defenders so they don’t steal the ball from you and trip you over
6. If you realize you don’t have the speed to outrun the defender or the skill to our dribble another player, focus on scanning and passing instead of over dribbling because it can cost you and your team’s victory
7. When you don’t have the ball, make sure to constantly look around, so that when you get the ball, you’ll know where everyone is
8. Always be first to the ball. If it’s coming at you from a long pass, always bring out your foot to control before the defender gets there and pass or run over to the goal while protecting the ball
9. Make sure to understand your teammates. If you know they don’t have the mentality to make a run or if you know they’re slow (or fast), send a pass to them that you know they will receive and will be able to do something with it

Stop that delusional bulls. Even though you work very hard, it doesn’t always mean you will see results . Soccer is a harsh sport. Stay focused to reality and try to do things that you might be able to do. Don’t set your expectations too high, later on it is you who will face the consequences.

In Italy, the first thing my coach taught me was how to fall properly. It might sound silly but you’re gonna get tackled a lot, and knowing how to fall can prevent many injuries :)

Thank you for this great content! As a athlete whose main sport was basketball I did not play soccer into my late teens. Truthfully, I was not a fan of the mosquitos constantly buzzing around me ;(. Anyways, now that I am a father of a talented 8 year old boy who really has a talent/passion for the game I find these videos helpful. They assist me in training him. We also watch the videos together so it is nice that we are both learning about the game.

i've been playing futsal all my life and switch to football in recent months. i found almost all my teammates are struggling to play simple yet effectives, they always seems to dwelling on the ball too long, while futsal players mostly keep it simple first touch - passes - movement off the ball. on the other hand, i lacked pace for long distance running (10m+) because i mainly using my agility to play around spaces, not to outpaces my enemies.

Ya I can relate but u will surely get better within a week cause I have gone through the same and those players who came out from Futsal r way better ..... Just train for long distance run and pace with the ball that what u need for it ... It eventually develops anything when u practice .... I feel like Futsal is actually beneficial
