Have you considered making a pure Warcry build, using the new support gem? Something other than Generals' Cry. Like Corrupting Cry for doing damage, and Infernal Cry for proccing explosions for clear. Both linked separately ofc.
Cremation of exhuming necro has been a lot of fun this league. Veerrryyy tanky build. Herald of agony too. From there a weird one you might want to try is Chains of Command + ranged weapons summoned weapon for massive army of .....weapons
Hmm, may not have enough room for everything else then. Typically chains of command build is very chill and requires few buttons, so adding active minions would defeat the purpose of going with such passive minions in the first place.
I haven't looked through all the changes, but it may actually even be much stronger because of transfigured smite changes that should also affect animate guardian. Although again, I haven't verified if anything in this build changed. Import in PoB and convert to 3.25 and see if numbers changed (PoB does not yet have new gem information).
DO NOT PLAY GUARDIAN You mentioned the spectre that summons raging spirits as a no go, and for that same reason do not play guardian. You will link to the sentinel or the relics and die

For spectres you use Carnage Chieftain for frenzy charges, Trawler from allflames for Bear Trap and Warcaller for Onslaught
trypanon with Fortify corrupt is just few chaos, might be worth it to give 1m free DPS + tankyness to AG

Not really. Automation will cost damage, not sure if it works on lower budget. Besides for explosions could use explody chest.
Infernal cry has also a second part to it but Combustion sucks. Has like 190% damage effectiveness😅
Maybe Storm Burst? Last league it had a huge buff to quality and with some quality stacking it is possible to get huge duration on it

It should not. It is a buff, it does not change items equiped and a buff would not transfer over.
ever tried to build ice golem with replica cold iron point? they can be either range spell caster or melee (melee is stronger)
Your cannot link to the Spectral Leader's SRS, they are not your SRS and the game does not allow it. Already been tested.

I'm pretty sure chains of command weapons and animate weapon gem share the same cap, so this wouldn't work

You need aggressive wand or maw of mischief coz minions are slacking if you dont have one specially melee minions

Dancing Dervish is the only exception, if it expires while you are linked - it does nothing.
Ah yes the only ascendancy focused on linking skills kills its self with linking....so stupid in my opinion
