The reason he didn't let them see the pads is because the other side of ALL the pages on both pads had the words 'George' on the guy's pad and 'Hillary' on the woman's pad. Since he only let them see the one page they stopped at they could not have known all the pages had the same word. He just flipped the pad to the 'different' names when he wanted them to see that.

I think the pad trick has the same concept as "the magic coloring book", where the pages are cut and designed to open at a certain page depending on how you riffle through the page. Looking back on the video I noticed that he riffles the pads from the top whereas the other two get "shown/suggested" to riffle from the bottom, therefore they open to the pages that always say "Hillary and Clooney". That's my theory.

i think i figured out how he did his first trick! sorry! if you don't want the trick to be spoiled then don't read this. i still could be wrong though. it's just a theory. haha! i am no magician or whatever but i like to observe things and i did a little research. haha! anyway, ok, so listen closely to the sound of the marker. he writes the hosts name but notice how when he "writes the number" down, it makes no sound, he's pretending to write something. now look at how he holds the pad with his right hand. he gives the pen to the host, the host says the number to distract you and for Lior to wait for the number to be said so he can write it down using his right thumb. after the host says the number, Lior says, "this is amazing..." to buy time for him to write it down on the pad. look at how he covers his thumb at 0:59 . oh but before that, when he starts writing on the pad, he says, "sorry for my handwriting." that's to distract you and coz well, it's hard to write with just your thumb. he also said that to make the trick more believable i'm guessing. the number 27 is also on the bottom right where his thumb was. don't believe me? pause the video at 1:00 and a few milliseconds (it's hard to get the exact moment where his thumb touches the pad) and look at that small metal/shiny figure on his thumb. it's a thing called the vernet thumb writer or the swami thumb writer. watch his appearance on larry king. funny coz it's the same number. and he uses the "sorry about my handwriting" line again. and the number is on the lower right. i'm guessing it can be any number but maybe the number 27 is easier for him to write. how he influences them to say number 27 is still a mystery to me tho. so that's still pretty cool.

As soon as he grabs it and asks if its the only one (or something like that) he bends the fuckin fork then. Then he shakes it so damn fast you can't tell its bent. Then as he slows down the movement it looks like its bending on its own. Anybody can do that shit. He's nothing but an actor

Spoon bending bullshit is a bit out of date. You can see him bending the tooth of the fork as soon as it was given to him and then immediately started shaking it. Most of his so called 'mind control' techniques also work that way by exploiting the weaknesses of human vision and perception.
