These flag songs have many layers and meanings, and are used by Yirritja clans to farewell loved ones.
Djakapurra is singing of the colours of two clans, Gumatj (yellow) and Wanguri (green), who are bound by a märi-gutharra (grandmother-grandchild) clan relationship.
