you need two sunflowers and put them in a small mill/windmill (structure found in the props section) or you can buy it in the village near the farm at the windmill.
If you haven't found the solution yet, when you get down into the cave for the first time and that water you fall in, dive into it and you will see a small lever. Pull it, but be careful cause its timed so it will close eventually. You have to go in the back where you see those green quartz ores.
