Ik heb geluisterd naar uw preek. Was een heel goede preek. Voor mij was het een bevestiging , Dankuwel. En wij zijn inderdaad geen aardbewoners, maar hemel burgers. Ik wens u. Beterschap, gebruik een wybertje, dat helpt. Ik herken dit.❤. P.S. ik kijk regelmatig naar dit programma.

Openbaringen 20 vers 4 zegt toch duidelijk, dat er zielen waren dergenen die onthoofd waren om het getuigenis van Jezus en om het Woord Gods en die het beest en zijn beeld niet aangebeden hadden en die het merkteken niet ontvangen hadden aan hun voorhoofd en aan hun hand. Ook staat er ergens: Wie zijn zij, die komen uit de grote verdrukking? Wij zullen er zeker doorheen moeten is mijn vaste overtuiging, al zullen wij het samen in Gods Kracht mogen doen...

Weerhoudende factor is Heilige Geest, dat staat niet in 2 Thes 2. Dat noemen we inlegkunde.
Nou, leg jij dan maar eens uit hoe het wel zit!

@@harmzijlstra5810 Hi Harm, wat ik aangeef is dat er in de tekst niet staat dat de weerhouder de Heilige Geest is. Ook niet in de context of ergens anders in 2 Thess. Ook niet in 1 Thess of ergens anders in de brieven van het Nieuwe Testament. De weerhouder wordt niet nader gespecificeerd, dus om er de Heilige Geest van te maken dan leg je zelf die interpretatie in de tekst, maar het is niet exegetisch. Daarnaast is het ook niet voor de handliggeld om de Heilige Geest als interpretatie te geven. De Heilige Geest is de Kracht van God en gaat uit van de Vader en de Zoon. Aangezien God alomtegenwoordig is, kan de Geest niet ergens niet zijn.
In ieder geval heb je de handschoen opgepakt 😊
Wat of wie het dan ook is, de aanwezigheid van de ac hieven we mijns inziens niet mee te maken.

Bij God is alles mogelijk. Zo kan de HG woning maken in uw hart of niet. We kunnen God beter niet proberen te duiden op een wijze waardoor Hij in ons voorstellingsvermogen past.
Prachtig. Zo de Heer verhogen in onze harten, Hij is het zo waard ‼️
God werd vlees; wat een onvoorstelbare nederigheid. ❤️✝️ Jezus - God als mens, van vlees en bloed - moest ook Hebreeuws leren, nadat zijn luiers waren vervangen door moeder Maria. WOW. En hoe moest Maria Hem uitleggen dat Hij ook God was? Zij wist het reeds. Ook toen Hij als kind (met neefje Johannes?) buiten speelde. En w.s. wel eens pijnlijk op de stenen viel,… ‘is dit God?’ moet zijn moeder soms in gedachten zijn geweest… En Hij was nooit alleen, inderdaad in Gen22 en Joh.16:32 Prijs God!
Wat ik ook ,zo bijzonder vind is het feit dat Hij.verzocht.werd in.de woestijn.en.de satan.bood HEM.aan.zeggende Zie al.de koninkrijken.der aarde zijn.van.mij.en.dat geef ik.u indien.Gij.mij. aanbidt.En gelukkig voor ons heeft Jezus dit geweigerd.en daardoir heeft HIJ ons toekomst gegeven.
@@marleengeel2586 Amen! Ik geloof wel dat de echte verzoeking was, wanneer satan -net als bij ons - ons aanvalt in onze ware identiteit.
“ALS Gij de Zoon van God bent…” De leugenaar zegt ons ook zo vaak: “Als jij Jezus echt volgt…”, “Als je een Christen bent…”. Zo goed en belangrijk is het onze Identiteit IN Christus te weten! Alles wat waar is voor Christus, is nu waar voor mij!
I am what God says I am. If God says I am, I am!‼️✝️ Dit geldt natuurlijk voor onze perfecte, nieuwgeboren geest (niet de ziel, of ons lichaam!):
I am dead to sin (Romans 1:12) I am sealed with the promised Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13) I am a saint (Ephesians 1:18) I am salt and light of the earth (Matthew 5:13-14) I am God's co-worker, enz, enz. (Heb er nog wel honderd).
Zou niet het Ottomaanse rijk (kalifaat) met de islam de rol van het ijzer met leem vervullen?
Uiteindelijk moeten we alles vanuit Israëls perspectief bekijken.

Why do Christians connect Ps.137 the last verses, to antiquated practices, prompting the omission of these verses in paraphrased translations? Verse 8. O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed, happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.' And verse 9 'Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.'
Answer: Without exploring the literal meaning of these verses, the fearful power of Antichrist to deceive is to be noticed. These words describe the destruction of Babylon by means other than the ordained, appointed, preaching of the word only. When capital punishment has ended as far back as the oldest people in society and beyond, there is an accumulation of offence, less readily discernable because of moral acclimatization: Rev. 9:20-21 'And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the work of their hands, that they should not worship devils...neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.' Between the casting of the beast: Rev. 19:20 'These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone', and the binding of Satan, Rev. 20:2, there is a space of time. "Whether: The Millennium or thousand years of Satan's confinement, denote precisely so many years, or only a very long time, we dare not affirm. When this period begins, is not agreed. The beginning of it at Christ's resurrection or at the fall of Heathenism in the Roman empire, about A.D 323, is hardly worthwhile of notice. The mournful condition of the church too plainly testifies that Satan is not presently bound but goes about seeking whom he may devour. Nor can we think with others that it began with the Reformation. We expect that after thirty years of terrible bloodshed, and confusion, at the downfall of Antichrist, and forty-five years of the spreading of the gospel, it will be arrived at its glory about the year 1941 or 2091." Gunpowder Plot deliverance commemoration---So, though we have had deliverance upon deliverance (many plots in the twenty years before the Gunpowder Plot), yet if we make not more of religion, and grow more in detestation of that religion, that God wants us to set ourselves against, it will be just with God to punish us, and to lay us open to them that we have sinfully favoured.

Christians believe that Jesus will come bodily another time: Acts 1:11 'this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.' Will his coming be in a state of humiliation or exaltation?
Answer: "Christ's last coming is in glory to judge the world." T. Manton Vol.18 p.74, and that: John 14:3 'Where I am, ye may be also.' This statement of Manton is universally accepted. God warns us in Matt. 24:42 'Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.' We are also warned concerning the demise of Antichrist that: Rev. 16:15 'Behold I come as a thief.' And: Rev. 18:8 'her plagues come in one day.' Both events are described as sudden. The destruction of Antichrist, is described as an event prior to the binding of Satan for a thousand years. Rev. 17:1 'I will show unto thee the destruction of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters.' And; the beast (which gets power from the dragon Rev. 13:4) with the false prophet: Rev. 19:20 'These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.' Thereafter: Rev. 20:2 'he laid hold upon the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.'
The saints departed long for the vindication of the shed blood: Rev. 6:10 'How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?' This is the blood that Antichrist shed which was in perpetual repetition from one generation to another as understood in Rev. 17:1 'the whore that sitteth,' as describing succession of Popes, and therefore upon the generation that is then alive: 'on them that dwell on the earth;' as in, the successors who continue the crime: Rev. 18:24 'And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.' These successors include all/any that participated due to governments/churches (world council of) giving power to the beast and thereby permit injustice: Rev. 18:4 'that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.'
Christ's coming to reign in person on the earth, prior to, and during the one thousand years of Satan's being bound, cannot find support in Scripture. Rather: Christ will reign on the earth through nations and rulers who will cease to support the Antichrist after the 'Until' of Rev. 17:17; Rev. 11:15 'The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ.' Then shall the Gospel go forth with great support from those in high places: Rev. 14:6 'And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people.' Often heaven or heavens refers to governments and earth refers to people as in Rev. 21:1, and also this 'and there was no more sea' Perhaps referring to no more rulers or peoples enabling Antichrist.
