Those spikes are not all suppose to be screwed all the way in. They are intended to adjust rake angle to get the phantom center image from the vocalist at the proper height from the floor at the listening position.
Waiting for your review. These speakers were $5000 a couple of years ago, so I wonder if they were a deal at 5k or not worth the $7800 they go for now.
Hello. Did you have the opportunity to check these speakers with the Yamaha A-S3200 amplifier, because that's what I'm planning to buy. I'm curious about the power and sound. Regards
Hi! May I kindly ask what would be the perfect amp for the Aria 948? I’m trying to decide if I should get the Denon PMA-A110. I have the 110 anniversary cd player as well. Thank you!
@@djtranceporter855 Hi! I have decided to change separates with separates too. So I will make a second system with my current Pioneers m73-c73 power and pre and I’m waiting next week for the Parasound a23+ power amp and the Parasound P6 preamp. I will let you know how they pair with the Arias.
It's cheaper not to make double the connections and two separate component boards . It's a bad policy because , bi-wire ( not bi-amp , by the way : they're different ) is sonically way better than having to split-off the bass from the rest of the signal , as single X boards do . It's easy to experiment the other way round by tag-connecting a bi-wire speaker-set to single , and hear the quality diminish . That metal tweeter is dreadful too . Fiber types are much nicer , as the Kevlar yellow one they produced in the eighties/nineties was .
That plastic eBay looking terminal cup has to go. I understand your trying to meet a price point but that is the type of terminal cup on a $500 pair of speakers bought at a department store that costs about $22 bucks to make in China. Particularly with a leather back. A simple piece of brushed aluminum with a Focal stencil would look way more high end and would raise the cost by about $1.
I just read an email last week about a v2 version of 936 coming first quarter 2021. Theyre absolutely hideous though. Yellow drivers. Look like cheap studio monitors. "The Focal Aria K2 936 will release for $5,990/pair when it becomes available in Q1 2021"
I own the Focal spectral 40th anniversary that use the yellow Kevlar drivers and the sound they produce is very analog sounding. The “yellow” drivers sound amazing.
It is a special edition with Kevlar drivers and a slightly different sound signature. It is does not replace the 936. Apparently Focal is working on a new Kevlar line, more focused on high end home theater rather than HiFi.

Still waiting for the review!!!!
For me personally they are one of the best looking speakers.
You don't remove the top protection to install the base!!!
Still waiting for the review...

Gracias, excelente video.
After use the hex fits in the grill bottom!
Hi, do they sound good with Mcintosh MC 302 and C2300?
I was looking for the focal point of this video but turns out it’s the whole video
I would go as far as not wearing finger rings, watches, belts with buckles and riveted jeans when handling expensive speakers.
Nothing a little duct tape wouldn't fix
JAY FOR A "CAMEO APPEARANCE"
Would like to hear it paired with the mcintosh mc8207! 🤘🏻🤘🏻speaker terminals look cheap. Plastic.
Why doe focal never do bi wiring
because they are making easy to drive and efficient speakers. Also 1 good amplifier is always better then 2 below average.

That’s not a hex tool it’s a torx tool but who cares!? :P
