    I've been working customer service my whole life. From working at as cashier, to working in a call center, to working at a service window and back to working in a call center again.
    I know how to deal with irate people, the way to handle it is to let them say whatever without responding, show them that you are in control. Don't raise your voice to show that you are out of control of your emotions.

    I just worked 72 hours in 5 days in a maximum security prison. If your thinking about a career in corrections do it I need time off.

      Unless you spent most of your life taking crap from people. Unless you decide that you are tired of taking crap from people and just explode.

    Hey Anthony, if somebody is a bit nervous to go into corrections but has the drive and want to work on being not nervous should that individual still apply to corrections if their willing to change and work on themselves?

    • @TierTalk
      @TierTalk ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Th key is to have self awareness. We are all a bit nervous. I still am after twenty years. But do you best to use that energy to motivate your forward and never backwards.

      There is no one that would not be nervous. The key is being able to act in the face of that nervousness. You learn to control it, you extend your knowledge and that allows you to harness it. You train and begin to act and react properly and your confidence grows.
