Wonderful as always, Dave! Only slightly bummed there isn’t a glowing ectoplasm tank car up coming, but maybe someday! 😉 Here’s to the Gruesome Gulch becoming a yearly Halloween tradition!
What another awesome build and the skelton riding in the car looks great. Pumkin head and his skelton crew love it. Thanks for sharing. 🎃💀🎃💀🎃💀🎃💀🎃💀 GOD BLESS 🚂💖🚂💖🚂💖🚂💖
Dave, That's a fun build. But I think there are two episodes you should consider. First a tutorial on your design techniques, if you haven't yet done one. And if you have a new refresher would be advantageous. the second is a GGRR ROLLING STOCK VEHICLE you have yet to design or build??? A caBOOOOse! With some spooky shadow theatre effects through the windows. A holding tightly to the rear roof grab irons a ghost flapping in the breeze. Hope you a the beautiful boss enjoyed your vacation. Whether bushing or railfanning. Jim in N.Y.
I've done two, one is linked in the video description. The other is on designing laser cut structures with Adobe illustrator: th-cam.com/video/5pZWQwMsZPY/w-d-xo.html
Scotch Bright and LASER Parts: I've taken to covering my material in Vinyl transfer tape. Sign guys know what that stuff is. Basically, really wide masking tape with light tack on it. I wipe the finished parts from the LASER, file the edges , peel them. They come out as clean as can be as long as I wash my sooty hands before the reveal. Both sides because I cut on old ceramic floor tile. THe resin from paper or LASER board builds up on the surface. That little trick works on light poster board too.
I found that another source of freight cars is s gauge. S gauge is exactly the same hight and width as on30, but cars in s are longer. Just have to replace and adjust trucks, couplers an length and you about good to go
Hey Dave, Been following your videos for some time now. Always such great content! I come from the graphics design/decal printing and cutting space and you had mentioned registering your prints with the laser cutter. Is it worthwhile to create an oversized print bleed and then get it close? seems like your current process works great but just a thought.
Love the wallpaper!!! Welcome foolish mortals!!!
Wow, it just keeps getting better and better. I was hoping for a On30 boxcar build. This was perfect, thanks for sharing another awesome video.
A fantastic Boxcar conversion, Underworld Express Agency. 🎥👍👍👍🙋♂
