Thank you! Unfortunately Rex can easily ride Trike once it gets legbreak on it. Plus, Rex is faster than Trike. It might’ve been smarter to chase me and then turn around and run away to make me take as much bleed damage as possible.
Progression is a much older game mode of the Isle Legacy that is outdated. In progression you would survive long enough and “level up” your dinosaur to turn into bigger and stronger dinos. You’d start with the weakest, say a Utah, and progress into a Rex. In survival you spawn as the dinosaur you wish the play and grow that dinosaur until adult, there is no evolving into a different dinosaur. Also, survival is the current game made in Legacy; alongside Sandbox.
Rex does have the most powerful bite in the game, but it can also be 1v1’d by almost everything in the game. Giga has it hardest out of the apexes, along with Stego. But Shant demolishes Rex and there are some extremely sweaty Spinos capable of clapping even the best Rexes. Rex is super strong, but its LB is RNG and there are some matchups where that RNG really shows. If I hadn’t broken the legs of the Spoon pair in that fight before about half stam, I’d lose. If Rex doesn’t break the legs of Shant before its 3rd screen, its probably going to lose. Rex is really strong, but heavily RNG based. I do agree though, LB should be rewarded through successful bites and apply after lots of injury is added, like in Beasts Of Bermuda.
@@mightyblight I understand and respect your vision of the game, you are an expert :-) For those who know how to play very well like you and can see the game more clearly, it is easy to find the weak points of certain species, but for ordinary players like me who have a short game view, biting and leg-breaking makes Rex practically unbeatable. Ah, well I respect your vision too! I definitely think Rex could be better balanced, its RNG leg break is very strong. Maybe if it had an injury mechanic that eventually lead into legbreak, kind of like in Beasts of Bermuda, it'd be more balanced. But I also agree that at some point experienced players tend to destroy everything on Rex. DM's these days are always filled with like 50% Rexes, it is annoying. XD I also still struggle with Rexes, especially on certain dinos, so I am right there with you. And of course! Thank you for commenting and your kind words, I'm glad we got to talk.
Yes, you can do that, but if you have ambush it takes away your ambush speed so you will only be crouching. To prevent this, you hit ESC and go into your character selection from there instead of hitting INSERT.
Spino can decimate Cama if done right. Rex is a lot harder to 1v1 without any chasing. I’ll maybe try out Spino! It’s very expensive though and I’m not the greatest spoon. XD
the isle is definitely not a survival game and rex is the only dino with all the advantages in the game and this is extremely unfair she can easily kill a giant mower like triceratops thanks to this game i hate rex thanks the isle
Unfortunately, Trike is just very messed up, it is in a bad spot in Legacy. Although, in Legacy everything can basically kill everything depending on skill level. So, you'll have almost everything soloing a Rex, which balances their power. Aside from Trike, Shant can absolutely demolish Rex if you practice enough. Just gotta practice and you can solo rex with ALMOST everything. :> I understand your frustration though, hated rexes once, still kinda do.

Oh! If your game is currently on the Legacy version, you can look up New Beginnings in the bar to the right and set your max servers showing to 1000 to load it faster. Let me know if this helps!

Mighty you really should do some Spino Gameplay and Spino also Best Apex for Killing everything besides Rex and Cama
