Sorry to spoil the comment section, I do have stock xenon lights and the lens after 4 years of use becomes dusty. Do I have to follow your step to remove the cover first in order to clean the lens or is there any other way to do it? Thanks in advance
@retrofitlab I have a 2012 opel corsa d with cree led h7 led lights. (the type with a fan in the back) is this compatible with a projector because the lights are taller than standard ones.

Aha serieus? een gewone Xenon heeft toch niet een speciale aansluiting en dergelijke nodig? Ik vind Xenon echt super om mee te rijden, heb er in november ruim 6000 km mee gereden in 12 dagen. Zelf heb ik an sich redelijk vel licht in mijn nieuwe polo, echter ben ik wel geïnteresseerd in xenon verlichting. Ik rij altijd met mijn dimlichten aan, want persoonlijk zie ik geen reden waarom je dit niet zou doen.... Kan dit gewoon met normale xenon? Ik begreep dat bi-xenon een soort schakel is tussen stads- en dimlicht? Dus als ik af ga op mijn manier van licht voeren(altijd dim) dan heb ik niets aan bi-xenon toch? Ik ben van de merken, dus ik heb liever een goed merk dan een b-merk, op je site zie ik philips, osram etc staan, maar ook allemaal verschillende types. Wat zou jij aanraden?(ik ben een leek er in) Je mag als je wilt ook alvast een prijs noemen, wie weet kom ik wel even langs in Ermelo dan!
Sorry, we are not up-do-date on all rules and regulations in every country, so can't say for 100%. For what we know about the UK, when it is a halogen headlight, it isn't allowed to change the light source. So an "H" headlight can't have HID or LED bulbs. So although projectors have a very good light pattern instead of xenon bulbs in a halogen housing that give stray light, chances are it is not allowed. Your best option is to inform with an MOT mechanic for example.
elchamito elchamito Nee, er zit geen extra kit tussen. Het grote probleem bij de golf 6 koplampen is dat ze permanente lijm gebruiken! Deze is niet makkelijk los te krijgen ook al warm je het op. Mijn mening is beter niet doen als het niet nodig is, als je het echt wilt zou ik dan een set kopen voor koplampen los te maken met een platte schroevendraaier beginnen is onbegonnen werk!
Thanks for the feedback, maybe it is a bit too fast, but we do this on purpose because otherwise, we get the feedback it is too slow... a thing that could help, you can slow it down under the settings option ;-)

Removing lens from that Valeo headlight is 95% of work. Its f***ing bloody hard to get it off.
Yes, can be quite hard, patience, heat and good tools really help...
