Yes, but cute and entertaining. They actally have the main character girls from this anime series, Girls-und-Panzer, as a tutorial option on the Japanese server for...wait for it...World of Tanks!
The worst thing about Oarai falling into Pravda's trap is that Miho had wanted and had planned to use unconventional tactics to wear down Pravda's forces but then she was talked into a quick strike strategy which is what led to Pravda nearly wiping them out early on. Even Erwin who should've known that trying quick strike moves on Russians and anyone imitating them in tankery is a bad idea was for a quick strike strategy advocated the quick strike strategy which puzzled me.
I think it’s explained in the show the crews just got big heads and Miho hasn’t always been the type to stand up for herself. I think the whole episode is also meant to reference Operation Barbarossa

A "Broken Arrow" is often interpreted in films as you don't shoot me, I don't shoot you. An example being a cival war film (thats title escapes me at tge moment) in which an officer asks a Native American cheif for aid in a battle. The agreement was set in stone via the cheif breaking an arrow in two and the officer unloading the bullets from his pistol..... Thats *NOT* what a "broken arrow" is.... My neighbor faught in Vietnam. He was in communications when he got a call from a group of scouts. They were ambushed in a cemetery, the enemy was hiding in the catacombs and picking them off.... out numbered they called in a "Broken Arrow" and that's basically saying "we can't escape, drop the bombs".... Our side did just that and blew the cemetery to kingdom come...... Luckily, our boys (who were teens if what my neighbor said is true) survived by hiding in one of those tombs they have to bury whole families. A "Broken Arrow" is (by my definition) a suicide request and last resort. Like "going down with the ship" so to speak..... My neighbor didn't want to do it but he did what he had to do and put yhe request through. Even if he didn't, his superiors would anyway but Its mad respect for him and those teens who called it in to begin with....
You are correct but to be exact the broken arrow communication if give when the sqaud/unit agreed to it and all visible outcomes avaliable are death or capture you basically tell your command to,drop artillery, bombs anything avaliable on your position to kill you, your unit,the enimy and blow whatever position your defending or at to kingdom come.

I used to play WoT, WT & Armoured Warfare. They kinda just lost me. WT & Armoured warfare just got boring & repetitive. WoT is just the player based that changed. Went from everyone having a good time & playing very well. To Completely incompetent subordinates who can't find their ass in the dark with a map, flashlight & written instructions. Not to mention all the gold rounds.
