I am getting ready to purchase a dozen bar lights to replace ADJ light bars. I was going to replace them with same ADJ mega bars but current model, called Eliminator Mega Bar RGBA EP 42 inch LED Wash Bar. I use them as batton bars above curtain panels to serve as accent lights and for movement up high in a big theatre auditorium when I DJ. I run DMX. They cost @ the same I’m wondering if I should get the CHAUVET DJ COLORstrip Pix ILS LED Strip Light instead. They seem to spec a lot brighter. I’m not sure I never trusts “lux” due to all the variables. This beam spread is 14 degrees while mega bar is 30 degrees so hard to compare “brightness.” Brighter is always better if price is same as they usually rapidly dim. I always get brightest available and can dim down if I want. Do you think Chauvet is a better choice? Is there any edge that a mega bar has over this one? What’s the biggest difference
I would go with the Colorstrip Pix cause the LEDs are not the old style design. Plus this has some pixel modes built in if your running an ILS command with it
