Vessels voice and the drummer are disgustingly awesome. The guitars going with the drummer are just methodical… I love this song and everything about them even their slow stuff.
Fun fact ii (the drummer) is the writer of this song, and he and Vessel are the only songwriters of the band. Vessel tracks all the instruments himself (aside from some occasional bass tracks laid by their previous producer.) ii of course writes and tracks all the drum parts, along with other writing credits. But yea, I always describe this band as having two voices: Vessel, and ii. The rest of the instruments are really there to support whatever the two of them have to say. 😁🙏🏼
see, ive never seen what sleep token look like - i assumed they were a bunch of dapper men in suits with man buns, but this.... this is better
Vessel's vocals are so good live that it's almost hard to believe it's not dubbed and pre-recorded! Incredible!

@@123cillitbang people say it's been disproven but I'm convinced it's Jordan Hunt. Their styles and voices are too similar, and they've got some incredibly unique voices. Facial structure and oddly enough, teeth are very very similar too.

It's crazy looking back at this, remembering being in the crowd for this show and how big they've become now! Will never forget seeing them at a more intimate show.
So interesting to watch this after they have completely blown up. Their level of performance is just as good as it is now but the lesser production seems to make it even more real and powerful for me.
You can def tell this drummer loves the deftones. All those filler beats. Beast mode. Incubus drummer could do that too. I think this guy is killing it. JS3 music here. 👋🌊

Love the dynamics of this band. They can na go full prog,djent. But they're not afraid to strip away everything except vessel and a piano at times. Their musicality is so expansive. Great musicians
