Great conversation but I have to correct the statement @23:40 The resistance was not just communist, or mainly Communists. They were only a part of the resistance. The Italian Resistance (Il Comitato di Liberazione Nazionale - The National Liberation Committee) was an umbrella term for different Italian resistance groups, like: Partigiani Bianchi (White Partisans - Christian Democrats) Communists, Socialists, Republicans, Catholic Anti-Fascism and Anti-Nazi, Social Democracy, Social Liberalism, Monarchism etc.
