Great to see and awesome explanation, i have an S430 and have thought about bolting on a amg supercharger, what is required for the conversion? Charger, ecu and injectors? And heat exchanger set up, i like blowing up M111s but the daily has to be a V8 man no replacement for displacement 🙏
I also think locking the clutch makes the drievtrain last longer. Your foot holds back the peak vs sudden engagement of boost can be aggresive on our small fragile front differentials.❤
Eventually I'll be able to afford to have ya do my 02 e430 4matic. Just hit 51k miles. And the entire rear suspension should be here next week(rides nice just squeaks over bumps). Also. My 430 says is 270-280 stock😅

Hey bro, is the 5.4 N/a or the 5.0 better for supercharging. In other words, is the 5.4 N/a more prone to failure when supercharged compared to the 5.0?
@bloodmotorsports Ok cool.. So the question is for 500 crank, is the 5.4 safe? My plan is either get the 500, charge it and then do visuals, brakes, suspension etc.. Or get the 55 and supercharge it and do suspension, but it needs to be a reliable 500. How much can the 5.4 take before it needs to be built? Respect for your feedback! 👊🏽
@@SMA4Nyou can make 575 wheel with the 5.4 NA/ (700 crank) it's been done a millions times before. They make 100 less peak power than the m113k at 700whp due to it having thinner rods, which would bend due to knock, so heat is the issue and these blowers need all the cooling they can get. They all have forged internals, but the K has thicker rods and shorter pistons. The 5.4 would make more torque and has more aggressive timing than the 5.0. If you look at the block of the 5.4 N/A it also has bolts going through the side of the block like the m113k to give the main bearing cap more reinforcement. 5.0 block doesn't, but it'll still hold up. how hard is to program the 55 ecu after its installed on the 500, I got a parts 55 i can get everything i need if i can get it bought
U have to have all the right things to do it and u have to know how to do it but I can do it for u when u get the ECU
