I've been looking at the small electric motors for Bar-b-q Rotisserie. These are simple 120v, high torque, low RPM motors with a hefty main stem, or square drive. I am going to my local flea market to buy a couple of them to try out. These motors are expensive on eBay, likely because of the weight of the motor itself.
You can get a decent motor from grainger... the 3M098 is a really common motor, it's the same motor dillon uses on their case feeders. It's 110VAC, 4RPM
You know, that motor LOOKs like the heater/vent door motor out of my old 2001 Dodge Durango! I'm going to stop at the local junk yard and see it my thought is true or not.
Good stuff man, way before 3D printing was big, hope you’re up to cool projects now

Try your local junk yard, any 12v dc motor window will work

Are you still using this? That is one slick build.

Can you provide the part number and specifications of the motor?
It's brilliant in its simplicity !!
What motor is that? Have you made any changes after posting this?
Hey, great job!
Would a 12V motor do the job too?
I´m not an electrician and would have to use a 220V motor.
Awesome video! Thank you for this, wish I could do more than give it a thumbs up!
Sir, you are a genius!!!
Can anyone tell me what limit switch to use? I assume you need a normally closed switch but there seem to be so many different ones.
Can you share a parts list? Thanks.
What are the messirments for the shoot?
where can I buy this motor?
