I swear the guy’s had a walkover in almost every Challengers tournament he plays. And this is coming from a man who vowed to be in the top 10 and win the Wimbledon on national television
He got to 17 in the world but it all fell apart after that, currently just 239 and reduced to playing very minor tournaments where he often retires from the match if he doesn't automatically win the first set. He's certainly an opponent's dream these days, if you can win the first set you won't have to play any further. He made Kyrgios look like a model citizen in comparison, more drama off the court than on it.
It didn't seem possible there could be a worse behaved player than Kyrgios but he really does make Nick look mature, his trouble mainly seems to be more off the court though than on, I didn't realise he was even still playing but he's 239 these days. He'd barely be making a living from it.
Love the Tomic coverage...I think a pinnacle moment of his career was winning the title in Chengdu against Fognini in 2018. As soon as he won match point, it started pouring rain.
you don't understand him at all! he's afraid. He's incredibly insecure to a psychotic level. He's not a rebel - he's an emotionally deprived child without honor, dignity, or class. He's a five year old and doesn't know how to be a man. he just doesn't
Maturity is on the shelf. He needed a coach to push him. Talent w/o discipline & commitment won't get you to the top. You need brain, brawn & backbone.
One thing I remember Tomic saying a couple years ago was he actually despises what tennis has become, a hyper physical sport with heavy spin and guys as fast as olympic sprinters yet can hit 100mph shots on a whim, he started tennis when Fed was more or less the dominant guy on tour , so he thought ghile and offense would be enough, he didnt consider Fed was also a great mover. To quote "Had i known Tennis would be the crossfit marathon for gym rays its become today I'd never wouldve turned pro, tennis imo should reward short point offensive players not punish them" in other terms he's lazy af
well, I wouldn't be as harsh as you about it. He definitely has a point, instead of ball striking skill, strategy, having good hands, etc., the game HAS become a kind of cross fit gym marathon competition where more often than not if the players are somewhat close in the skill the player with the better fitness will almost always come through.
HAHAHAHA the name Tomic sounds like some chemistry periodic table element or a rock/stone. Like "this device... it's made of Tomic." Or Tonic water from Italian springs and mountains with Tomic rock. In all seriousness does anyone see Tomic coming back to the top 100?
@@anseinueseima408 hahaha no it's Croatian I think. It just sounds like a "this rare specimen or stone. It's made out of Tomic." Sounds like some mineral hahahahaahhaa.
I really don't know who in their right mind would consider Tomic as the "Greatest Player Of All Time". There is IMMENSE talent on the tour and there always has been.... having "talent" alone doesn't begin to qualify someone as the "GOAT". The TRUE "GOATS" have paid their dues over a very long, illustrious career, not having "talent" and ending up being the class clown. p.s. "Most Dramatic Match Ever" ?!?!?!?! Man, your clickbait technique really is due for a tune-up.
Kyrgios wouldn’t have lost; they both play with piss poor mentality, but at least Kyrgios doesn’t play so defensive on what should be an aggressive point.
The real greatest of all time? Sorry folks, I don't think so. He has raw talent and could be so much higher than what he is currently ranked. But he just doesn't try nearly hard enough, that and his mental play is a slight weakness of his.
Tomic was a very good player, but he was hardly one of the great tennis players of all time. Not even close. You need more than a few flashy shots to get there.

So creative and talented, yet not mentally strong enough, that’s what separates talented players from the gods of the big 3
Correction, not mentally strong at all
7-6, 5-2 to end up losing.
Guys, 5-2 is the worst score to have in tennis
Tomic is like a worst version of Nick Kyrgios !
Ordered on wish
worst? I'm not that sure. Tomic is so underrated
@kamehouseita6888 You are joking right😂? Tomic isn't underrated he is a clown

He's not as just jerk jackarse as Kyrigos but he's worse in terms of just playing half arse ehen things aren't going his way

Definitely the guy who don't want to take life seriously. I understand him 100%

Tomic knows how to surprise. 😮
It doesn’t seems possible to produce a lot of power with this forehand, but obviously this is not true.
Tomic is talent tennis🎉
man I totally forgot how good this guy couldve been
The Real GOAT himself 🥱
“…a man considered by many as the greatest tennis player of all time…”
I’d missed that.
Federer-level choking.
greatest of all time, hahaha
What a slap in Federers face to call this nobody the real goat.
Really, the G.O.A.T. !!!

unfortunately not
wtf lol, I thought Tomic is Yugoslavian descendent because the surname ends with a letter c. Apparently it's rock name?

GOAT😂🤦♂️
Tomic is such a good player but has the weakest mentality especially when he reached rank 17.
Tennis' biggest clown

Can confirm not a single person considers this dude to be the greatest of all time lmao what are you on bro
Tomic = Kyrgios
Kyrgios wouldn’t have lost; they both play with piss poor mentality, but at least Kyrgios doesn’t play so defensive on what should be an aggressive point.
