I think the pyramid of giza should be like this:obsidian 1st layer,glass 2nd layer,end stone 3rd layer,wood 4th layer,clay 5th layer,wool 6th layer and ladders 7th layer
Just use endstone (1 batch is enough to cover the bed, and it's really hard to rush), then glass, then wood, and replace endstone with obsidian later if you have the resources. 1 layer of wool only works in solos and maybe in duos. For threes or fours, you need a normal covering. Anything bigger than 3 layers will make it easy for them to hide inside the covering, and bare endstone is easily blown up by TNT, bare wool and wood can be easily blown up by fire charges, and bare glass can be easily broken by hand, and then you can place a TNT under it, so endstone->glass->wood gives protection against TNT from above, TNT from melee range, fire charges, and people with tools (since noone buys an axe). Just assign one person for covering and splitting when someone respawns, then after 2 minutes, that person can also rush. This got me to around a 250 winstreak in 4v4s.
Usually I do a hotdog defense with wood then if I get obi later on I just make the inside later obi so it looks like a normal hotdog defense from the outside
i build the defense in the form of a tower with a protected spire and a wall around it, sometimes with a moat, and i'll climb the spire and shoot people with arrows the entire game yes, i loved studying the medieval ages when i was little
Pro tip :- If you want to stop any zombie from despawning but you don't have any nametag, you can give zombie anything which he can hold in his hand like any block, tool, armour piece, etc thing in Minecraft
