OK, I just felt like randomly sharing this... Regarding the flu, cough and sore throat, but especially the cough... A miracle cure is to put hot salt on your chest (as hot as much as you can handle) wrapped in a towel or something. In fact, it is a kind of treatment, an old Romanian remedy learned from my grandmother, which has always worked wonderfully for me. So if you ever need you can try 👍🏻
I guess all these crazy weather changes and us being a bit weak from the winter... it's normal to feel sick or rather not well enough to have energy. It's fine Karen, take time to heal and recharge your batteries. We've all been there, have we not? Also I've noticed that ever since I had a very very mild case of covid back in 2021 (it was just a nasty cold for a week, really), whenever I get a cold and then I heal, my cough stays a little longer, so be kind and patient with yourself, it's the only way to get rid of it. Drink lots of juices, nurture your body, you'll be fine. The thing with mochis is that you either like the texture or you don't. And then the filling. I don't like all the fillings but in general I do like non-ice cream mochis. I usually have them whenever I go to Madrid, my favourite one is the Sakura filling one, and it is supposed to be made of the cherry tree flowers in bloom. They're sold at El Corte Ingles in Place de Callao, at the gourmet floor, so if you ever go to Madrid, try it out! The gourmet floor is the top floor and there's a huge window there from which you can see the whole city's skyline.
