Man I loved the old GP so much. When Riot gave a random skin to everyone waaay back, I got Special Forces GP, which made me interested to play the champ. Once I learned you can either build him Tankplank or Critplank, I was sold. I really liked playing Tankplank. Not to mention his fun personality and flair. Even though the new barrels are nice, it's too bad that his whole appearence and personality changed
The og passive was just so fucking busted, and so was the OG E. Imagine being able to deny cannon minions in toplane today, yeah that would be absolutely insane.

Then it got out of rotation so I had to grind like mad to buy him... When I finally did it, his E was nothing like I remembered. Now I know I didn't dream it, I'm not crazy, there was a time when GP could eat ally minions :')
Statik + IE GP was freaking OP you can literally one shot your enemy with just your Q. Compare today you need the help of your barrel to one shot your enemy

Joseph Bisquera gp was my first champion i ever played and he is my highest mastery champion. im tired of fcking adc's gunning down all of my barrels before i pull of a fcking combo. with the old gp i could rack up more assists just by pressing e and the old gp had a free frozen mallet,healing reduction, ap damage over time that stacks like darius and his ult did way more damage if a cannon landed on you than it does now and finally it was easier to chase and explode adcs because of his E "raise morale". i watch alot of tobias but i still hate the new gp even though im not that bad with him.
Jonny Rockets did you even play back then? His ult was complete trash because most of the time the cannonballs wouldn't even hit anyone. Also his slow was so weak it was barely noticeable
