U literally saved me. For days my unit was sounding out of phase. When i watch ur video i cut that black sleeve off that same wire and i couldnt believe it was the black wire that was broken. I touched it together and perfect again. Thanks again.
Hi,why you think my one i have not sound on my left front driver door on the music audio and instead i habe sound only the navigation mapp robot on it?any idea?
@@kelfordleslie I just installed my unit last night actually, and when I was playing it without the auxiliary plugged in it was only playing on the front speakers, and when I plugged in that auxiliary, it worked all around so you do need to plug it in to your original port.

Are you coded for AUX already, follow the steps in my follow up video and you should be ok. If you are not yet coded for AUX watch a video on how to do so then come back to my video. Any issues just comment again.
@@armenaslanyan3803 yes man, you need to plug AUX cable in original car aux output and put it the aux jack what is going to the diaplay near the big jack where you plug in the display and original radio jack
Thanks for your guidance. My car is e60 525 2006 with no AUX. I bought AUX activator, my question do I need to activate AUX on the original screen or on the new android screen?
I’ve installed CarPlay on my 530 e60, but he play only radio frequencies, if I play Spotify music they didn’t play, he also continue to play radio, so I think I need to code aux on my car?( the car came out without AUX port or option on infotainment option).
Yes sounds like you need coding for AUXILIARY, it’s pretty simple to do and there are tons of videos on here that tells you step by step how to go about it. Get it coded then if any problems still with audio I will walk you through the fix.
@@kelfordleslie I’ve try to code AUX, but I’ve an android system in my e60 and I can’t read the ECU to code it, do I need to code the aux source with the stock CCC?
When you connect inpa to your car does it show that its connected? If inpa doesn’t show the battery and ignition connected then you need to change the com port on your computer to com port one, if it’s not on com port one inpa or ncs expert won’t read and connect to your idrive to allow you to code the module. Your android unit have access to the idrive system so that won’t be the issue. Sounds like the com port on your computer is incorrect and that’s why you can’t connect to the idrive. Also check you have the correct ODB cable
@@kelfordleslie thanks for your response, turns out they forgot to connect the cable to the heating vent when they installed car play. It’s all good now. Thanks for your help
Bro.. no me va el audio del coche no tenia aux antes ahora se lo compre crees que me irá si le enchufo el aux ? Tengo pantalla android y antes no me salía aux solo radio fm y CD. O tendré que llevarlo a la BMW que me activen el aux
You need to code in aux if you want to have any audio output through any android system in the e60, because its the only way you can send audio signals in this car. Plus you have to have an AUX IN slot.
Yes, you have to activate the aux line if you dont have aux . Will not matter what you do until then. They have a adapter that will activate the line...
If you don’t fix the AUX you will not get any sound at all even if you put music on the android unit, because the audio goes from the android unit to the idrive then to the speakers. So if the AUX isn’t fixed no sound can get to the idrive

My main question is “ does the aux running from your cd player unit, have to be plugged into your aux Jack”..?
If your car has an AUX port that means your car came coded with AUX functionality already and swapping out your head unit will work the same.
@@kelfordleslie I just installed my unit last night actually, and when I was playing it without the auxiliary plugged in it was only playing on the front speakers, and when I plugged in that auxiliary, it worked all around so you do need to plug it in to your original port.
@kubadon1 check the setting of your audio to ensure it is not mono but stereo
sometimes it’s the fiber optic cable you have to get it from the oem harness and put it in the new system harness you got
Bro el coche solo tiene opción en CCC de aux Rear no hay Aux in sabrías decir la solución ?
