WRONG, Softners, the machine takes right at the end, in the last rinse.. so either wait till the last rinse and add manually by hand, or add in the start in the specific place. Also, when u add detergent in the specific part, then the machine mixes it better in the water.. talking from experience.

I am also thinking of buying one, but probably I'll go with foreign brand.. as though haier is a good brand (i'd say 7/10) the other brands like bosch siemens samsung offer many more wash cycle types and are a lot more efficient in use of electricity, water, detergent and of course time.. also they last longer and need repair a lot less frequently.. SO they are WORTH the price.
also front load is much better than top load.. the style of washing.. imagine in top load the clothes go round and round or in reverse half cycles.. whilst in front load.. like a dhobi or hand wash.. the clothes go from bottom to top or roof of the drum and then they fall on the bottom.. so cleaning is more effective and needs less water and less detergent.
