hi, there. i just went to Phatthalung on the raya week coinciding with the balik kampung season in Thailand for the Songkran. march and april are the seasonal months for the famous pink water lilies at the thale noi lake. to see the pink water lilies in full bloom, you need to be on the boat latest at 6.30am (7.30am malaysian time) during the sunrise as the flowers will close before 11am due to hot weather. i highly recommend you to enjoy the beautiful sunrise at the thale noi lake and also to take a stroll drive along a long bridge going across the lake in the evening for the sunset. there are a few viewing platforms provided on the long bridge. you can try eating the raw pink water lily stems fresh from the lake and they taste crisp and spongy.
Hi great video. I would like to ask how you plan your itinerary. Would like to plan for a self drive but I always end up in PTT 711 or some random roadside stall eating kao ka moo. Would be great if can find insta worthy places like you did. Mind sharing your tips?
Nice sharing and lots of interesting places
