I feel like this turned into “products over hyped by beautubers that didn’t live up” 😂 No shade we all like different things. Just thought it was funny. It’s kinda crazy how much beauty youtubers influence their audience to buy products.
A couple of saves though. I have that brow gel, which will last a long time, as I use it with a 3 pronged brow applicator gone bust & no extra goo. The bronzer, which I read up on, was made specifically for that sunburnt yet sunkissed look & for those with a certain undertone. The powder, which came from boxycharm I've heard, darkened anything under it & they've since reformulated, but it's watery feeling only lasts 3-6mo.
Also, seems like a of the TH-camrs get the same PR & it's all promoted simultaneously. Like, who's ever tried a brand called Private Society Cosmetics? I'm starting to look more at Indie brands....
Her eyes are gorgeous! It’s really beautiful seeing natural heterochromia, instead of the obvious fake ones like that one girl who got a lot of attention for it and was exposed lol.
Crystal YESSS! Heterochromia is really beautiful like u said when it is NOT fake!! And on Allie it is so subtle but when you pay attention to it is really pretty
Her using that highlighter: "too glittery.. Too much..." Me using highlighter: *puts a liquid highlighter, then a jeffree star pro frost to put a literal streak of light on my face😂😂*
The Wet & Wild Foundation is the best foundation I’ve ever tried. I’ve tried so many high ends but this foundation wears BEAUTIFULLY on my skin it has a hydrated finish! You can also build it up
I thought it was pretty decent too, it breaks down a bit on my forehead but I have combination skin that's a little more oily by the end of the day. Plus I use sunscreen everyday.
Ugh, shapetape: dried out my under eyes, cracked and went patchy throughout the day, and that horrible fake floral fragrance made my eyes water. Why do companies insist on putting fragrance in eye products or face products?
my under eyes are so dry that even maybelline fit me concealer made me look like an old lady.. i can't even imagine how shape tape would look on me thank god i don't have it where i live or i'm sure i would get it because of the hype and waste my money
I am soooo picky with makeup products and I actually like that wet n wild foundation. It was shocking to me that it was on there. What I think is overrated is the Hourglass Vanish Stick or It Cosmetics Cc Cream. Both are garbage that I unfortunately spent money on lol
I think the opposite. Lol I got the iT cosmetics CC cream in my ipsy plus a while back and I repurchased it when I ran out because it was so good. I definitely didn't like the wet and wild foundation when I tried it. But it just goes to show that make-up is subjective.
Well one huge reason I dont like the cc cream is because there is no color that looks reasonable on me. Lightest is too light and makes me look gray and the next up is comically too dark on me... ☹
I'm one of the weird ones the light color looks perfect on, but I have pale olive skin so I NEED a grey/green undertone! Almost every other foundation pulls comically orange or pink on me 😂
Yes, it doesnt work with dry skin at all. It was THE worst product i have ever tried. It looks waaay better on my sister and her skin is a lot oilier than mine.
Kayla Ranger I have combo skin and it works pretty well but on my days when my skin is drier I have to put a moisturizer and a moisturizing primer under it or it looks cakey on the dry areas. So unless your skin is super dry maybe try that and it might work better
I think they probably did use peach emojis because it was a too faced product and they loooove using peach scent or peach images for everything 😂 She just assumed it meant it would be orange I’m guessing.
I’m looking forward to the skincare videos!! It’s taken me forever to figure out what products work for me, Murad ended up being my magic brand, but I could definitely use additional suggestions and tips!!
We don’t know if the people commenting on their dislikes have oily or dry skin, light skin vs dark skin, etc... everyones skin reacts differently and some people’s comfort of color intensity and shine also varies. This is a difficult concept to review-
So with you. Not worth the hype or price. To be honest, I havent liked anything I've tried from two faced yet. Maybe I've tried the wrong stuff, idk, but I tend to ignore that brand as a result.
I posted this on another comment about shape tape, you might be able to make it work I actually really love shape tape but I only use a tiny amount (literally one dot under each eye) and blend it out really well. I barely dust a powder on top and then press it in (l'oreal true blend pressed powder is my favorite) any loose setting powder turns it crepey and is way too much powder
@@xdawnxangelx I'm a lady of a certain age (34 lol) so I don't go ham on the concealer or powder under my eyes and I have normal to dry skin on a good day so Shape Tape will never be a go for me. Now LA Girl Pro Conceal? Holy Grail. And cheap
I was/am still confused about Shape Tape. It took the beauty community by storm. Everyone loved it when it released and went on and on about how great it was. Now that the Too Faced one has replaced Shape Tape, it’s funny how suddenly everyone talks about how horrible it is? 🤨
Jennifer Mayberry I was scared for her too! Even with the tiny amount she used it still left a streak on her face. Just a lot more subtle than it did on Taylor haha
I bought the Milani blush and hates it, it not only accentuates imperfections, but also makes the skin look kind of oily ngl, it works great as a warm highlight tho
Kayla Wilburn I know you posted this comment 8 months ago, but I HAD to reply. It’s horrible. Smells like paint and, quite honestly, made me look ten years older. If your skin is even SLIGHTLY dry, that foundation is trash. Tati raved about it, but just...no.
@@elaceyc6853 I know you posted this 7 months ago but I have to say that the dewy one is actually really nice at least in my opinion. Especially paired with more hydrating primer, looks so nice glowy and fresh on skin and doesn't smell of paint like the original does.
@@WendieMorgan that's interesting, because my skin is painfully dry (in spite of all the moisturizers I use), and that foundation is one of the few that work for me. I always love my skin on the days that I wear it. It is really interesting how different these products react on different people.
No offense...but when you’re talking about “can you guys see that! “...no, no I can’t. Can you maybe actually zoom in or use less lights? I couldn’t see the highlighter at all...

i come back to this video whenever i feel like my makeup just isn't doing what i want it to do despite trying several different techniques. instead of convincing me to keep buying and trying new products, it helps me re-evaluate my collection and keep using what works for me.
I have that brow pencil, only thing it's good for is the sharpener I use on my regular $2 e.l.f. pencils when they dull out. That one is too light & soooooo red based & waxy! The gel I love, I just use it with a different applicator.
MsButterFlySting80 I’ve seen other YTers who really liked the tattoo studio brow stuff. But they also take a different applicator to it. Something like a fine tipped brow brush, that you’d use for a pomade.
Maybelline great lash has different wand shapes and sizes. They have a few different types with the green lid and purple bottom. they have one shaped like a cone, and I love it! But the original great lash did nothing for my eyelashes.
I love the concept of this video. The original great lash (with the typical lash) is one of my faves, especially for natural looks!!! But i do have very curved, long dark lashes to begin with, so what i like is how it doesn’t clump and just gives a natural effect!
I remember liking one brush that was more plastic and really separated and fanned my lashes out. The original brush...I can kinda make work, but I'd rather not!
For us truly "normal" everyday makeup wearers we reach for the items that we know work for us. We try things influncers talk about and rave about, but what I have found is that the best products that are my holy grails are one that I know work for me. I love that you did this video and all of these question videos to really showcase that makeup has a different use for everyone and its okay to not like the popular item. Thanks again for another wonderful insightful video!
personally i really enjoy the maybelline great lash mascara! i'm into more long and separated lashes rather than tons of volume so it works well for me and it builds up nicely i think ☺️
The Becca hydra-mist setting translucent powder is literally the only powder I can use that doesn’t make me look ten years older then I am! I have very dry skin and this powder does not make me look dried out and old.
I love that foundation and concealer if my skin is moisturized. That foundation is so good! I love that blush too, this is so confusing cause I love most of these products! Your makeup looks great!

I thought you would pick a little darker. I did the same thing too! Kinda same shade and it looks terrible on me. Thanks for this fun video! Enjoyed these very much.
Well you can definitely reuse the products like the tarte shape tape makes a perfect shadow primer as it dries down velvety soft , the bronzer can be used as blush or shadow and the highlight can be used as a inner corner highlight or as a shadow topper/transformer ..there are always ways to reuse your makeup fails

I actually prefer eyeshadows that are less pigmented, they are usually easier to blend, build up and work with in general
True! I have a Hard Candy palette that’s not very pigmented but I ❤️ it!
I agree, the bronzer looks amazing on your skin tone, especially when you drag it on the cheeks as well ❤️
I love how the husband is like “oooh that’s PATCHY” lol
Hahahahaha
And Tylan saying Ew to that glitter shadow too.. just awesome. 😂😂
*the* husband
Paaaaaychyyyy
Stephanie Rodriguez he knows all the lingo LOL
I feel like this turned into “products over hyped by beautubers that didn’t live up” 😂
No shade we all like different things. Just thought it was funny. It’s kinda crazy how much beauty youtubers influence their audience to buy products.
Kelly is here. Lol!! It’s so eye opening!
Kelly is here. Totally agree omg can’t believe that 😯
When they hype it up to the extreme it just hits harder when they don't perform outstandingly, but turn out to be average and not flawless.
I feel like everything was honestly okay or at least manageable until the lips. I just about cackled when you got to the lips. 😂
To be fair, the colour might've been okay with some lipliner.
... if it weren't for the formula... xD
On camera the glitter isn’t too bad but I tried it once and it was my top worst product I ever tried.
For people with dry skin, the L’Oréal true match is amazing on me! (I have extremely dry skin) I do always apply moisturiser and a hydrating primer!
Wait a minute, is anyone else seeing the brown patch in her left eye?? It looks gorg
yup i believe she has heterochromia
Ya
Gia Trafalis
ikr her eyes are gorgeous!!
Too much..."
Me using highlighter: *puts a liquid highlighter, then a jeffree star pro frost to put a literal streak of light on my face😂😂*
Love this!
Same!!!
I’m laughing so hard at the “literal streak of light” because I feel that lol
I know! I want the Martians on Mars to see my highlight from space.
I was crying laughing after u did ur brows but I was on the floor when ur husband said "ur my special little date"
I am one that has never tried that mascara. It just never appealed to me.
It is the WORST beauty item I have EVER come across!
holbrookski I’ve never used it either....bc everyone I know hates it! 😂😂
I tried it and it was non existent
I like it 😢 but I haven't ever tried expensive mascara, it is a good cheap mascara that doesn't clump
Yes, I thought I was the only one the wet n wild looks terrible on!
Nope, I could tell
Oh dear god YES
I thought I just didn’t have clear enough/perfect skin to use the foundation!
I could not get past the terrible smell from that product.
I don’t care for it either plus it transfers off of me so easily
The Wet & Wild Foundation is the best foundation I’ve ever tried. I’ve tried so many high ends but this foundation wears BEAUTIFULLY on my skin it has a hydrated finish! You can also build it up
Same. It’s my favorite of the drugstore lines.
I like it
I thought it was pretty decent too, it breaks down a bit on my forehead but I have combination skin that's a little more oily by the end of the day.
I love the it cosmetics cc cream! But agree with the hourglass foundation... emphasized all my pores and dry patches 🤷🏻♀️
Well one huge reason I dont like the cc cream is because there is no color that looks reasonable on me. Lightest is too light and makes me look gray and the next up is comically too dark on me... ☹
@@LPOW84 fair enough, I have to say the colour range is pretty atrocious!
I'm one of the weird ones the light color looks perfect on, but I have pale olive skin so I NEED a grey/green undertone! Almost every other foundation pulls comically orange or pink on me 😂
The wet n wild foundation looked horrible on my dry skin!
Yes, it doesnt work with dry skin at all. It was THE worst product i have ever tried. It looks waaay better on my sister and her skin is a lot oilier than mine.
It also breaks me out soooo bad
It broke me out too!!
Kayla Ranger I have combo skin and it works pretty well but on my days when my skin is drier I have to put a moisturizer and a moisturizing primer under it or it looks cakey on the dry areas. So unless your skin is super dry maybe try that and it might work better
Me too! And hate the smell!
Favorite quote “That’s a sad Scoopity Boopity” 😂🤣
The bronzer is actually really pretty on you girl!!!
How has no one noticed she said peaches when they are oranges...
lowkey was searching for that comment
I think they probably did use peach emojis because it was a too faced product and they loooove using peach scent or peach images for everything 😂 She just assumed it meant it would be orange I’m guessing.
I’m looking forward to the skincare videos!! It’s taken me forever to figure out what products work for me, Murad ended up being my magic brand, but I could definitely use additional suggestions and tips!!
You're my favorite makeup creator!!! I love how genuine and true to yourself you are 🤗 love you bye
The Milani Luminoso Blush is my favorite of all times, love it. 🙈
Same!! I audibly gasped when she pulled it out for this video because it’s my favorite blush
that bronzer looks SO good on you! you look like you just got back from the beach
Hah, his response.... “The eyeshadow is P A A T C H Y” 😂
We don’t know if the people commenting on their dislikes have oily or dry skin, light skin vs dark skin, etc... everyones skin reacts differently and some people’s comfort of color intensity and shine also varies. This is a difficult concept to review-
Chris Lee so true!
I absolutely hated Shapetape. Made my undereyes so crepe-y and dry. I was just shocked how bad it was. And confused how anyone could like it
Jewelzy Julz same. I only like to prime my lids or cover blemishes.
So with you. Not worth the hype or price. To be honest, I havent liked anything I've tried from two faced yet. Maybe I've tried the wrong stuff, idk, but I tend to ignore that brand as a result.
I posted this on another comment about shape tape, you might be able to make it work
I actually really love shape tape but I only use a tiny amount (literally one dot under each eye) and blend it out really well.
Watch Taylor Wynn’s most recent video on “Ulta fails”. You will cry laughing about that same highlighter! It’s AWFUL! 😲🤣
I saw that one, and was cracking up. I was also so scared for Allie, but, she made it work!
Jennifer Mayberry I was scared for her too! Even with the tiny amount she used it still left a streak on her face. Just a lot more subtle than it did on Taylor haha
I know! That was a great video Taylor made... and Allie too!
It literally dried in a big glop on her face, she couldn't even blend it out😅 I was dying😅
That was so funny! But Allie made it work!
The bronzer looks AMAZING on you, it looks natural and sunkissed
I kept feeling like you reminded me of someone, and I finally found out who! Mindy, from drake and josh.
For some reason she always reminded me of lily reinhart
omg. 10000000%.
I kept thinking Lauren jaregui especially before the eyeshadows
Jennifer Conolly in the Labyrinth for me
ოεցa oოεցa I can definitely see that too!
Omg I love the wet n wild foundation and setting spray they make my face look like porcelain.... ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
“Pink powdered donut” hahahahaha I literally died laughing on the lipstick
Heather Crabb haha same 😂
I bought the Milani blush and hates it, it not only accentuates imperfections, but also makes the skin look kind of oily ngl, it works great as a warm highlight tho
I am so glad people mentioned the Wet and Wild Foundation. I thought I was just applying incorrectly.
Wendie Morgan Thanks for this. I was going to try the dewy one, but I think I’ll pass now lol!
@@lili.2571 I agree. I feel that the foundation would have worked better for her in this video if she had a different primer.
I dont like shape tape. Its overdrying and emphasized fine lines
Lolita Ismanovska James Charles uses it
It sets into fine lines and will make you look 100 years old.
@@sadietucker2255 yeah hes like 12 so he can use any concealer he wants proly doesnt even need one.
Lolita Ismanovska haven’t tried it. I have the camo concealer & that’s how it is for me on my eyes.
No offense...but when you’re talking about “can you guys see that! “...no, no I can’t. Can you maybe actually zoom in or use less lights? I couldn’t see the highlighter at all...
I agree. I wish everyone would do like RawBeautyKristi and Jaime French and really zoom in so you can see every pore.
The glitter, lip color, and brow gel at the end made me laugh, but everything else looks amazing on you. 😂 I love Tylan's very knowledgable opinion on the eyeshadow at the end! You two are adorable!
The Wet n Wild foundation was definitely my second choice when i replied to your story! The one that I responded with was the ABH Stick Foundation, it was patchy and did not blend well at all!
First time watching, and I already love her! She seems like such a happy and positive person
So glad other people felt that way about the wet n wild foundation!! I've NEVER had a foundation separate on me so quickly. Within two hours I looked like a mess
The wet n wild foundation is definitely a no go for me!
it feels so bad on the skin
Smells like paint stripper and looks so dry and caked
Ugh the wet n wild one scares me because of the smell, I'm afraid of whatever they put in there 😭! But agreed with the tarte shape tape, it's too drying and I'm actually in love with the nars concealer you convinced me of!
Most other foundations would smell like that if not for added fragrance/ingredients to mask fragrance. Its why so many products are fragranced 😉
Same !!! I love nars concealer
@@CheshyreKitten yeppers, imagine if none of the beauty products ever were masked by fragrances, eventually the paint smell would be accustomed to. Bad or good thing?
@@MsButterflysting I mean, I prefer my products fragrance free, so I don't mind.
To me it smells like almonds. 😂 I actually like the scent.
I love how interactive with your subscribers you are 😭❤
I’ve watched a lot of your videos but this video made me subscribe because of how real and honest you are. You’re like a breath of fresh air in the beauty community
This girl has such a lovely lip colour and eye shape... like she’d look so good with just a light base, brows and gloss....
I like the bronzer I’m actually going to give it a try
“You’re my special little date” 😂😂😂
"oh the eyeshadow is PATCHYYY" 😂😂😂
That was GOLD 😂
I think it would be interesting to include the complete list of products at the end of the video or in a linked list in the description!
i come back to this video whenever i feel like my makeup just isn't doing what i want it to do despite trying several different techniques. instead of convincing me to keep buying and trying new products, it helps me re-evaluate my collection and keep using what works for me.
you should've scared your husband and said "but i like my brows" 💀💀💀
Darren Kheng HAHAHAHAHAH 😂 I should have!!
I can't remember which one, but the mascara actually smelt like a tropical vacation & did work well. Why they discontinued it, idk!?
@@MsButterflysting was it the temptations one? I dont remember hearing a lot about it.
@@CheshyreKitten I honestly can't remember the name, I want to say it was in an orange tube?
That lipstick is just the worst 😂, and the eyeshadow is extremely underwhelming.
I love how your husband says "you're my special little date" absolutely adorable!!$
I almost shouted when you pulled out that wet n wild glitter!! That stuff gets EVERYWHERE and STAYS THERE FOREVER 😭
personally i really enjoy the maybelline great lash mascara! i'm into more long and separated lashes rather than tons of volume so it works well for me and it builds up nicely i think ☺️
I agree with the concealer! Too thick especially for those of us over 40.
The Becca hydra-mist setting translucent powder is literally the only powder I can use that doesn’t make me look ten years older then I am! I have very dry skin and this powder does not make me look dried out and old.
I’m glad to finally see that other people feel that way about the foundation, I kept trying it like why does everyone love this 😅
Omg I literally LOL’d when you were applying the lipstick!
I love that foundation and concealer if my skin is moisturized. That foundation is so good! I love that blush too, this is so confusing cause I love most of these products! Your makeup looks great!
Erica Johnson no need to be confused! Everything works different for different people!!!
Keep loving them!!! 😍
I also think we should do another one of these with a wear test.
Yes, I agree!
I did not like Wet and Wilds foundation. It separated as the day went on, showed flaws on my face, and settled in my pores.
Omg. I love the photo focus foundation. That’s crazy!
The NYX lip is so so bad. Also, I swear I’ve picked out several colors and they look totally different on. Drives me crazy.
I don't like the milani blush either!!! Omg all this time i thought i was alone on that
Omg Allie I am literally crying with laughter. When you dont like something and you go OH NO , over and over 😂😂😂😂 I love you so much for this lmao bless you for dealing with those products xo
She reminds me of Winnie the Pooh😭😭💓
@@user-fd8ct8uq3b haha omg ! Yes she absolutely does lol
her husband talking about the lipstick formula & “who made that that” and the “eyeshadow is PAAAA-tchy” 🥺🥺🥺 like he genuinely cares & know bc it’s what she loves omg
Hi Allie! You are right. There's so many products out there for a reason, some products may work for others where others may not work for them. Thank you for reminding others that they shouldn't stop using a certain products just because others don't like it or does not work for them. I was surprised you picked out that lip color! I thought you would pick a little darker. I did the same thing too! Kinda same shade and it looks terrible on me. Thanks for this fun video! Enjoyed these very much.
Im amazed u willing did a full face of products that we don’t like 😂😂
“I would say absolutely not to that” 😂 huge fail on the company’s part
Allie, you look like the meme of that little girl in her carseat with the glitter all over her eyes LOL
Omg that wet n wild foundation was the bane of my existence!! Wanted to love it but holy moly did it make me look like crusty potato 🥔
