Snails as Fishing Bait- Better than worms and they are free !!!

Lately I've discovered that the common garden snails work so well as bait for fishing. Give them a try.
Pros:
Free
Store for months
Last longer on the hook than worms
Cleaner to handle than worms

It's been an interesting experiment and I'm pleasantly surprised how well they work. What's especially appealing to me is how long I can store them.

Can i use freshwater snails? The snails that are on lakes, river's etc

I hope somebody else can answer that because we don’t have breams here. It doesn’t hurt to just try and let us all know.
