- We had the pleasure of meeting a truly inspirational character called Craig Parks at the weekend. Motocross is a tough sport for anyone and everyone so we were blown away when we found out that Craig, who lost his right arm in an accident a few years ago, passion is riding Motocross and he continues to do so without his arm. As you will see from the film he doesn't just ride, he hauls ass & hits all the big jumps and shows many of the riders the way round the track !! We have absolute respect for this guy....#inspiration

you sir are a ROLE MODEL! an inspiration to so many that when something so bad can happen like losing a limb, it dont stop you. my 9 year old niece was born without her 2nd bone in her forearm, no thumb and only half of her shoulder socket. and she has some movement with it, but not much its 8 inches shorter than her left arm. I showed her this video and she wants to go try and ride her bicycle after many failed attempts. you just made her day! you gave her hope. keep doing what you do and giving people hope. thanks for this video.

my buddies are around 24yrs old and alot of them too scared to ride a dirtbike.. one has a street bike cbr125r.. i rode it said wow this is gutless and told the owner to try my crf450r he says no thanks lol theres people wih one arm that can ride it im sure these guys could do it but they too scared.. Hell i even seen a 6 year old on youtube using and jumping his dads 2 stroke 250.

Imagine how hard that would be, riding that bike on the road, coming to a corner, stop, or whatever, braking, downshifting, and blipping the throttle at once! I know I'd fuck that up!

I think that's awesome! I had a guy in my local series back in the day who was super fast and had no prosthetic I think its absolutely amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it! Mad respect keep shredding!

I was born with a confused left hand and ride leader bikes. My best friend was born with his left arm that ends a few inches past his elbow. We’ve been working on finding a solution so he can get licensed. He can ride even though we haven’t had anything made yet. He has ridden my R1 numerous times in the past. Our biggest obstacle is living in BC Canada and it’s the hardest place to get any help with prosthetics even with cash in hand.
So I’m learning to use things like c&c and machine lathing.
If you have any advice we would sure appreciate it. Thanks for the inspiration bro

There was a guy with one arm in Montana in the 70s racing motocross. He didn’t have a prosthetic though. I was always amazed by him.

As tragedies happen it's sad, but I'm glad to see this guy's got good spirits, and he's back on it and hitting it hard.
back in the 90s a friend of mine we rode with had a 125 Honda.. He killed it like nobody I've ever seen... Honda was just getting ready to help him out with a sponsorship when he hit a whoopie doo. and went over and got paralyzed!! from the waist down.. he was determined, to get back on that bike!! and once someone put him on there he had a shifter made up and he rode that bike he was amazing...

Thats amazing to be able to do that but he needs a rekluse clutch setup so he doesnt need to use the clutch it would help him out so much being he only has one arm
You only really need the clutch to start off, especially on upshifts the clutch is not needed.
