0:22 You said one of the reasons you've stopped at the creek is to wash some clothes. Just wondering, because in the other video you said not to do laundry at the creeky places. If you want to day hike or do short overnights, most AT trail heads will have parking. If you want to thru-hike from Georgia to Maine or do longer sections…consider getting dropped off 😂 there are shuttles at some of the bigger trail heads.
+Mark Ogle I used some clear plastic that painters use. I cut it and reinforced it with duct tape. It worked pretty well, but I only used my hammock for a week.
In a lot of places you can stealth camp. It will be posted at some point in areas where it is not permitted. Although camping in a designated area does reduce high traffic impact.
I'm confused. Did you do a solo hike and just make friends on the AT? Or did you do a group hike? I would like to do a solo section hike. And I'm wondering if I'm going to be alone all the time.
Everyone on the trail seems so nice do you come across asshole people from all the videos I see there all great people I'm going to try start this trail this year I'm learning all I can thanks for the videos your amazing
