People in europe where having issues with ooni 16 because the gas flame was blue a did not heat the oven as it should. So people started restricting the air from the burner to get a yellower flame and that fixed the problem.
Okay I bought a second hand valoriani baby 60 and it is producing soot in the oven. I believe I need to adjust the air intake to make it a little more blue but still yellow and so the flame still reaches the top of the oven
Flame must be more yellow, imitating wood flame
Can I ask why? I would have thought that a blue flame will burn hotter and be more efficient on gas?
@@ThexManxDan because it imitates the flame coming from wood which is yellow. And as a plus it heats more.

At the moment, the flame rolls over the top of the oven to the other side and even sometimes makes it's way up the flue slightly
