It was really nice to hear you talk about what's going on in your life and what's on your mind. You are so authentic and relatable that it sometimes feels like we're just sitting down and chatting! I feel like if we knew each other, we would get along so well, lol :) Also, I really like that you emphasized that you don't want to play a major decision in anyone else's decision to go to Disney World during this pandemic, which is why you weren't planning on making a "normal" trip vlog. It's really admirable to see you recognize the power that a platform can confer and to see you using yours so responsibly!

Haha yes, I need to! I have all the footage but because it's been a while since I've taken it and it's stored in my cloud it just takes forever to download it and edit it! But I'm thinking of just sitting down and editing a ton of them back to back and uploading them all in a week 😂
Magic Kingdom is my favorite park as well. I do not think I could take a FL trip and not at least visit that one park. Also soooo glad to hear of another person that really enjoys Epcot! I feel like it is easily looked over compared to all the other FL parks. Love your videos!
It's just so classic! I also think a lot of people think of Magic Kingdom when they think of Disney World - at least from stories I've heard of guests asking cast members how to get to Disney World (if they're at a different park) and the CMs realizing they're asking about Magic Kingdom 😂 and yes, love Epcot and I feel like it's just going to get better with all the future additions they have planned! Plus the festivals are so fun!

I don’t immediately feel immersed in magic while I’m there (like Magic Kingdom), but my favorite memories there really are always more about the people I spend my time with - especially hanging out in the world showcase. You have likely answered this in a previous Q&A, but what is your favorite country in the world showcase? Mine is Japan! Also, which housing did you live in? I was at Chatham. P.S. I like longer videos too - when other creators make them I usually save them for when I'm doing a task like dinner, cleaning, etc. and it makes it more enjoyable! And honestly I don't think I had ever thought about why I liked Epcot before until I started talking about it in this video, but I think that makes sense! It caused me to think back to all my favorite trips or visits and I realized the reason I liked Epcot was because of the memories with friends! I actually don't know if I've answered that one before! And honestly it's such a tough question! I love the vibe of France (and creme brulee is my all time favorite desert and I always get it there), Norway is special because I got to hang out with Ariel at the restaurant there, and I love China too because when I would see Ariel in Norway I would get lunch from China on my breaks 😂 but I also love Mexico because there's this rice bowl that is SO good and it has pickled onions and it was legit my favorite thing to get in the entire park there. And then I also love England because of fond memories of visiting Alice or Mary Poppins and one time when Joel came to visit me (on my DCP) we got a flight of beer from the pub in England and it was really fun. So I don't think I have a favorite, but all of those stand out as "favorites". And I lived in Vista Wayyyyy haha

Hi, Kenzie! Interesting stuff as always! I was curious the typical length of a Character Performer's career at Disney. I hear it's usually only a couple of years, and your run was quite short, but I randomly found a bunch of performers on Instagram (and through that, Twitter & FB) and there was one Elsa active for six years until the pandemic, and another girl was doing TEN years and was about 30. That seems highly unusual- did you meet such long-runners while you were there?
It honestly just depends! I also (personally) think the turnover rate is pretty high and people get burnt out easily. It seems like a lot of people will only do full time for a year or so and then go part time or seasonal. So maybe they're there for 5 years, but 3-4 of those years was seasonal. A lot of the people I knew who were still there were part time or seasonal (and sadly got laid off recently). It's hard to know for sure, but I do think a good amount of people only do it for a few years before either moving on or moving up.

It sucked to see all the people get laid off- including a few performers I really liked on my last visit (I used to ignore the Face Characters, thinking it was weird if a solo dude just showed up to talk to them- I later found out this is kinda common or accepted, lol). I can see the job as being pretty exhausting, being happy for hours a day and dealing with each person for a minute- some seemed to be REALLY good at it and kept at it for years.
I've been considering getting my eyebrows tinted/microbladed for a while now.. Which would you recommend and why? Would love to hear about your experience! Also, you are so beautiful!
Thanks Sara! Honestly, yes/no. Tinting is great and it's not super permanent so if you hate it you won't be stuck with it for long! I do like the microblading, but it does fade pretty quickly. Like the phase in which I felt like I could leave the house without doing anything to my brows was shorter than I anticipated. BUT, whenever I tint them I feel like it does darken the microblading. I'm really grateful I was able to get my brows microbladed for a really reasonable price, but knowing that some places it costs several hundred dollars, I don't think it lasts long enough to be worth the price. I also feel like with some of the brow pens that have launched this year from different brands it's gotten way easier to fake the appearance of brows than it was before! Like I feel really confident in my abilities to make it look like I have full brows when I don't. With that in mind too, I feel like it's more cost effective for me to fill them in rather than going and getting the microblading touched up.
